Still it's disturbing me that we have made so wrong choices (except international jury in 2006) and we could have been much more successful in those years...

Having good choices for having good entries would be a positive thing. Having "good" choices for qualifying to final would not be a positive thing

Not sure if you'd be in the final every year with all of those, but Ines (2006), Hele/Kristjan (2007) & Birgit (2008) are all on my list of entries that I would have chosen for Estonia instead of the chosen ones in those particular years.

I would also want to add Violina feat. Rolf Junior (2010), Ithaka Maria (2011) and Traffic (2012) to the list of entries I'd rather seen Estonia picking those years instead of the ones they've chosen.

As for me...

My favorite in Eurolaul 2004 is Turn the Tide by Zone & Cardinals. But it was a poor year. Kerli's song was not good and very repetitive but it could have been enough. Safer choice would have been Maarja's come-back as Homme is a very nice tune. Strange to see that EL 2004 was Kerli and Ewert debut and now they are both international stars ! :) Tii would have been far higher, I think, as well, with a good singing and not that very odd performance with the big man and all... :?

Eurolaul 2005 was not the best either. Let's get loud had potential but the performance was not good in Eurovision. Strangely I don't rally like moonwalk though I'm found of Laura ! :D My favorite is Rebecca Kontus with "Have you ever" ! :) I think Eha had potential as well as Gotta go became a hit in a video game if i had understood well.Plus Eha is really beautiful ! :)

Eurolaul 2006 was wonderful with almost only hits. And the international jury went to the most Eurovision song and spoiled a great place for Estonia not sending Ines with Iseendale whoch such a GREAT song ! Would have been my winner without any discussion. And we would have escaped a Swedish represntation ! Glow, Swedish Carola Szücs, Sofia Rubina, Marilin Kongo and Aphro Tito were very good also ! Strangely public went for Meribel Müürsepp's bubblegom. I think it would'nt have gone anywhere...

Eurolaul 2007 was great also with many frontline artists ! :) I love Partners in crime, and as a Sal-Saller tune it's epic ! :D And actually the performance in EL was great but the performance in Helsinki was aweful, with Gerly howling and this boring dancing that had nothong to do with the song... :? But then again, it's strange how Estonian public overlooked Vanilla Ninjas who would have had it all with "Birds of Peace" ! :D I also love Laura's "Sunflowers" ! :)

Eurolaul 2008 was the worst Estonian selection ever with a few good songs. Obviously the best one was é365 days" by Birgit Õigemeel. I think Rolf would have been a good option also.

Finally in 2010, obviously I would have picked Lenna ! :)

So my wishes since 2004 would have been ! :)

2004 Zone & Cardinals - Turn the tide
2005 Rebecca Kontus - Have you ever
2006 Ines - Iseendale
2007 Vanilla Ninjas - Birds of Peace
2008 Birgit Õigemeel - 365 days
2009 Laura - Destiny
2010 Lenna - Rapunzel
2011 Getter Jaani - Rockefeller street
2012 Lenna - Mina jään
2013 Teele/Tuli/ULA - Ring the alarm

I just don't want ballad from Estonia. I know Estonian entries just since 2009 and they were succesful only with Urban Symphony. And Kuula is so-so to me. But Rockefeller Street was shaking the stage and criminally underrated as 24th placing.
