ESC has evaluated so much since it was first broadcasted. From the static chancons, reading of each 1 to 12 pts, introduction of jurry, transmission into colorful TV, changing dresses, getting led lights installed on the dresses, treadmills, figure skaters etc. For the better or worse, let's talk about the craziest visual performances. Hopefully, I will learn how to insert screenshot pics by the end.:D (inserting pics in this forum is diff).

True! Lordi's performance was quite impressive because they were for 2 weeks under very heavy rubber masks & costume, but also because that was the first time that type of musical genre was introduced in ESC. Those masks probably contributed a lot to their win. xrockout

I don't remember that artist & it was long time ago. Maybe, if u could post a pic or video of his ESC performance, that could refresh my memory. That goes for all the others, for the visualisation and it is adequate for the thread, post photo or video with their name & song/country.

Lol, I just listened Marvin's song today because I ranked him 2nd in my top3 polish entries. What is crazy about his performance? National dresses of their backing vocals? Polish Slavic girls, babushkas also wore traditional dresses. Btw, babushkas who brought giant oven & their whole performance is beyond crazy.

Ryka?? What's crazy abt her performance? Her hair, her waterproof dress?

It was 1998, Germany's entry called "Guildo hat euch lieb" by Guildo Horn. Translated the song means "Guildo likes you".

(I don't know how to post a Video into a Forum, so I will just give the link)
Guildo is a funny guy, among other Things he sings about "nut triangles" (sweet pie with nuts to eat) and "raspberry icecream". In that year 1998, in Germany, nut triangles were a huge hit in the bakerys here. :D

Wow, those costumes, his face/hair everything is so crazy but in a bad sense. Also, I had to mute him.:lol:
