The best and worst interview partners?

I must say I very much enjoyed the Lithuanian interview on ESCToday. Very fun and sweet couple! Also think Lena makes for a great interview partner, as do the Finnish girls (sigh...) and Sophia from Georgia. I dare say I could list more...

By comparison, Alyosha (Ukraine) and Jessy (France) were indifferent interviewees - and lets face it, everyone in music should be reasonably proficient in the world's lingua franca. Not too much to ask, imo.

And Peter Nalich! I mean, nice enough guy I'd say, but it's highly irritating if people refuse to make eye-contact! Man, this is show business. A little effort, please. Be professional.

Obviously interviews aren't what we vote on. But it's interesting to see who masters the art of the interview and who kinda flunks it. All part of being professional at what you do.

So, who do you think excels in interview and who doesn't?

Hera, Marcin, Lithuanian lead singer, Lena come to my mind as well as Josh from the UK and Niamh are both great and quite chatty.

Mostly those who speak english well tend to be better interview partners as it can be hard to have a full conversation with a big language barrier (no offense Gjoko )

Hera is the best! I just watched an interview in a greek program and she was singing the greek entry. Of course she didn't know the lyrics but she sang the melody in such a funny way! She's adorable!!

I believe Hera, Marcin, Josh and Sopho are very comunicative and relaxed, that's why their interviews are interesting But girls from Feminnem are the funniest!

If you want to have intelligent interviews just ask the Turkish guys.

For the others... the question is if you have to say something or not. If not, you're making fun.

Marcin from Poland is a nice guy, but obviously thinking about something else during his interviews and just answering the same questions he was asked 4583 times before. Same with Hera. She's talking, but does she have something to say? No...
