What do you think Azerbaijan will do on stage this year to win votes for their bland song?

2013: man in a box
2014: acrobatics
2015: ???

I think theyre gonna pay the EBU to remove the no live animals on stage rule, and bring a wolf on.

I personally don't think the man in box counts as a gimmick, just creative staging xshrug

Either way those "gimmicks" pale in comparison to the gimmicks Sweden have been putting on the ESC stage the last 5 years

2010: glow sticks for the whole audience
2011: exploding glass
2012: snow
2015: animation

Only 2013-14 didn't have any gimmicks

Tbh most countries use gimmicks little unfair to just target Azerbaijan xD The biggest gimmick of recent years was that damn sand woman from Ukraine. I'd add they know how to work eurovision staging and make it memorable.

2013 had the "glass box of emotion" and 2014 had the trapeze artist that served no purpose in the performance other than to be a distraction

This guy had wings last time he was on the Eurovision stage, so maybe in the 7 years since, he's learnt to fly :D

If you're talking about Azerbaijani gimmicks, it might also be worth considering the glowing dress from 2012!

I'm sure Safura' dress lit up as well.

They can go for a big aquarium with sharks dressed as wolves and Elnur would swim with them. That would be epic, wouldn't it?

"Undo" had a cumbersome custom light rig that wasn't used for any other songs....

It looked amazing imo. Lights used as gimmicks are totally ok for me: one can make an act stand out with the right atmosphere (Sweden 2014 & 2012, Germany 2011, Finland 2014).

2012: World Cup trumpet guys?
2013: The giant

Get Ruslana on stage then, and her pack of wild dancers!

Then get rid of Azerbaijan's song and singer and get Ruslana to do her mini concert like she did at the Romanian NF. xheat

They should try arresting people for voting for Armenia and bribing Lithuanian students to vote for Azerbaijan!

Oh wait...
