Germany => not many jury voting, lots of televoting
Belgium => many jury points, less televoting

Yeah i was afraid germany wasn't the televote winner but a jury choice and the few results we have so far show us it might not be the case

I predict that it will be the same proportion for Ukraine in the final results like last year except the juries will swap places with televoters ))) I think that juries prefered us more.

this is exactly what I meant about our diaspora what works for other countries does not work for us.
The same is for Poland (3 pts) and Slovakia (0 pts) our 3 biggest diasporas pawned us...
Russia has been already liked by our jury before ... so I think that our televoters gave 12 to Azerbaijan because it was disliked by the jury. I'm not sure about Spain... maybe even our televoters voted for Daniel.

The real surprise for me was... Turkey :shock: usually we do not favor this country that much (0 pts last year, 8pts this year). Also we usually dislike Romania but we gave them 2 pts (most def thanks to televoters) .
And we gave 0 to Moldova :? as well as 0 to Belarus.

Yeah, AlekS, but your diaspora in Portugal has always worked with 10-12 points from televoting and you got zero in total!!! :shock:

^ which means it's not always about the country at least with our diaspora then.
I think they just didn't like our song. + I noticed that they choose popular acts (I think they know/rememebr these performers) like Verka, Ani, Oleksandr, Loboda, Ruslana. Or something ethnic like Ruslana or Tina Karol'. Not gonna talk about Greenjolly because it was rather political case, obviously.

Alyosha hasn't been popular even in Ukraine and there was 0% of ethno + I'm not sure that such music is popular in Portugal

I think Greece got 4-6 points from each memeber of the jury and that's why they got the 12 points.
The same case was probably with Denmark's points.

Yes, i'm sure that if 5 of us gather in a room and watch all the songs and talk after that to decide a top 10 it would be completely different than if people were in different room ranking the songs from 1 to 10.

If we were all the five together i would defend Germany, Romania, Belgium to get the 12 points & people would also defend their top two or three...

But if i were alone with my piece of paper, surely i would give 8 To belgium & 7 to Germany & Romania (god when did i started to love the romanian song? But that's another topic) but i'm sure i would give 4-5 for Ireland, Armenia, Georgia, Greece, Ukraine, Denmark & Portugal so maybe Ukraine or Georgia won't be mention at all when the 5 people are together but when you add all the votes it gets 5 or 6 points.

And if you're alone and you find a song off key or bad you will give it 1 or 2 without problem whereas if a dude or two next to you say 'oh my god this is worderful' i'm sure i will give 3 or 4 because i will think it just my bad taste lol

Not really. The EBU will release a complete breakdown jury vs televotes eventually. I think we had to wait a couple of months last year.

What surprise me it's that they didn't release the jury result yet.

Last year they said norway also won the jury votes like 3 days after the show and gave the result right away (but the total, not country by country).

This year they didn't give it and i wonder why...I think the Obvious is that Germany didn't win it or wasn't top 5 and on the contrary won it but Turkey, Romania or Greece did very badly with the jury.


If the Jury top 3 was belgium Germany & Denmark & that Azerbaijan, Turkey or Armenia, France & Romania weren't close to a top 5 or a top 10 i would be very careful when i realease the results too
