The juries totally screwed her up! TOP 5 or TOP 10 for me. Also, my favourite at the Melodifestivalen.

This was one of Sweden's better entries if you ask me and deserved something better than 21st place. It's funny how it was so disliked by the juries....during MF and ESC, I wonder why that is?

It grew on me a lot a couple of days before ESC, it is a song that is surely a huge grower. But the first impression is what matters on ESC, so......i think it got what it deserved.

That song was a grower on me and I liked how the screens turned white while she performed Not among my favourites, but among the better songs this year

my mom liked it ))) well, I think it's miles better than Charlotte. Though it can't compete with Norway or France... imo. It's not in my top-5 but it's in my top-10.

When the swedes chose this in Melodifestivalen I said that it'll take a miracle to make it to the final. But as the time went by I liked the song and now it's in my top 10. However it was a bad choice for Sweden. There were too many good songs in MF 2009 with the best (imo) being Alcazar's "Stay The Night" which finished 2nd in OGAE's Second Chance Contest.

For me, La Voix was by far the best song in MF, and I even bought the single and Malena's album after that. The problem in ESC was that it sounded a lot worse than it did in MF, and even tho it was in my top 5 to begin with, I didn't even vote for it in ESC, because it wasn't that good anymore. No idea what happened there...

But I hope Sweden tries to send something different again, and not just the usual schlager/disco stuff... The 80's are kinda gone...

The problem was that in MF the backing vocals of Malena was a playback something that is NOT allowed in ESC. Malena had the advantage to use playback vocals in MF and she won. Of course every artist could choose playback vocals.

I still don't uncerstand how Caroline af Ugglas finished 2nd! :shock: I like her strange style and I'm fine with the song but I didn't want her to win last year.

Naah 2009's Melodifestivalen had only one right song. And that was Stay The Night. I don't say that their song was the best just because I am a huge fan. They sang Headlines this year and I still believe (and I will always believe it) that the best choice this year was Timoteij!
