I am not sure if this is the right place? Hi I'm sivso and this is my ranking to introduce myself too I guess and spread my opinions as gospel. Eurovision has GROWN UP WITH ME it has been there for me since 2008 and I am going to rank the top 50 songs which are all very near and dear to me.

Aw I love this song. ^__^ It's so sweet and also vulnerable, it sounds like a kind of Disney song? Now I am NOT one for ballads, there are not many in this but the way it builds up is amazing. She really SUNG on the night and it shows, sadly it somehow didn't pay off? Like it got 4th in the semi but seems to have gotten lost on the night, idrk, I was 9 years old in 2010 so didn't remember this song til I came back to it and I can say it is my 2nd favourite Portugal entry this year *we look at my signature* Umm idk what else to say but it's this low since it's just pleasant and...stuff ^_^

Yeah this is my fav Italian entry this decade. lol : I do really like Soldi & whatever the 2018 one was called but this is just soo cute! Wait let me see what emotes are on this board. xromance there we go. Obviously her staging was a bit weird and the dungarees? HMM. But the song is just too cute to leave out of this ranking & it has a nice message so there we go!

This funky song! It's fun and upbeat which was needed in the 2010 final. I do like the verses especially but the chorus is kinda just okay to me but it definitely deserved Top 3 even if I have it 4th for 2010 two of the songs I like more didn't make the final so lol. Not much else to say, I like Paula more with her screech notes And the staging was fine!

MAYBE too low idk what the opinion of this is around here? Obviously it's a very beautiful and CALM song which is nice and I didn't expect it to do as good as 2nd before 2014? I don't really remember 2014 pre-show but it shocked me. But it makes sense. I like how EvilIlse goes around rotating men out of her group for fun I am glad Arcade won and all but this would be a better winner oop. And he isn't on the list. The black & white staging is a really nice effect etc.

Just noticed I forgot to put Serbia on my countries list but oh well. I love trainwreck entries and this delivered. In the NF I believe they had the angel/devil outfits to show the song was about GOOD vs EVIL. And then they show up to Malmo in these hideous quilt outfits that look like they wouldn't even be in-fashion for Barbie in the 80s lol. As for the song itself I love it, I love an upbeat screamy song and this was honestly robbed of being in the final but the self-sabotage they went through really put everything off for them. AS for them I love the devil girl and Nevena came back this year but her song was NOT worth being associated with goddesses Moje 3. Ahhhhh ljubav je svudaaaaaaaaaa

Moje 3 very robbed. That song was great, I dare say better than what was sung this year from Serbia. Although also great. I suppose quite a few people are fans of calm after the storm but I hated it then and still do now. Although its staging was effective.

Ira Losco washed up hags are my FAV Eurovision archetype, Carola, Anna Vissi, Tamta etc. And this was just a good like...modern song? That I liked. When this was top 5 with juries I was shocked, she was the original Tamara, but then she got owned lol. idk what to say here except I did really like the song especially the WHOA WHOA WHOA parts. No idea what she was trying to do with the staging but it made for a nice mess...? And 12th was a good place for it hehe. Good job Malta since I usually dislike you!


44. Greta Salóme - Hear Them Calling

SO robbed omg. I have plenty of NQs on this list but they were mostly self-sabotaged or joke entries where I can SEE why it didn't make it to the final? But this there was like not much of a reason idk I don't see it not to wank over this when it's been three years but...? The staging was unique, the song felt ICELANDIC and fun. Maybe her outfit but really she lost to Serhat? lol. I mean everyone who lost to Serhat this year DESERVED it but Greta never did. Now 2016 was obviously a strong year but Hungary qualifying TEN PLACES above this? All the fans loved it in the arena, it's a mystery to me but I call RIGGING!

Anyway I love this song.

Yes this is absolutely the best Dutch entry this decade. It's fucking LEGENDARY okay? Like I remember 2009-2010 I'd say was my peak Eurovision obsession although 2017-2019 has been good. But the difference is in 2010 I was like 8-9 years old and used to watch all the national selections and it was so cute omg anyway I remember the Netherlands were like WE HAVE SUCH A GREAT SONG. And made tons of people sing it to find the best. The CLEAR star was ~Peggy Mays~ who looked like Miss Piggy.
BUT they decided to send Sieneke, young, hip, 18 going on 45. I can NOT believe she was 18 during this that poor girl ;_; It's an absolutely LEGENDARY song you should all appreciate just for how Dutch it is and how they thought it was amazing like omg...songs these days don't have this ENERGY...loved it when I was 9. And now.

Hint for 42/41/40: 2 overpositive cute forced positivity songs and a winner. One of only two winners on this ranking I believe

This angel Zoe's ~energies~ BOOST this entry, obviously she is the most adorable legendary positive force in history. Aside from the next entry I'm cutting. The song itself is a nice upbeat kind of Disney song which is boosted by being an Austrian singing in French which is so unique but apparently 11% of Austria speaks French? oop. But I didn't expect this song to do this good, the televoter angels loved it and boosted it up to a very good 12th, it''s so unlike anything Austria does since outside of this and Conchita (who would be in my top 100 but not on the top 50) they are a pretty bleh country. But you just felt everyone falling in love with Zoe yaaas positive angel!

omg ;_; it HURTS to cut these angels since they are sooo sweet and their Eurovision journey was way better than expected. In 2017 this was my absolute favourite of the year, singing in Belarusian The staging was so good with all the whites and honestly I didn't expect them to qualify? But they did over overrated tripe from Switzerland and even beat Verona yaaas! So I was sooo happy to even see them in the final and they seemed so happy and joyful. As for the song? It's really positive but not usually my cup of tea but I forced myself to like it for NAVIBAND and it had such a cute energy over like every other song in that final. 17th? xboring This being 1 placement off Belarus' best this decade though ugh but Teo and Alyona made it so good.

ALSO this is 100x better than Sebi and they have ENERGY which ZALAGASPER could never. Never ever.

40. Lena - Satellite

Yes I''m cutting a lot of 2010 entries oops! But this was such a good winner and oops I realised there is THREE winners on this list. So this is my third favourite winner this decade yay! I remember being SHOCKED that even Germany could win cuz the Big 4 flopped so hard in late 2000s. It was a solid pop song that deserved to win and I think it's aged well? People probably voted it so much because of Lena being an adorable angel who even I as a 9-year old gay who didn't realise it had feelings for her! Yaas! The lyrics are so rando & fun and I'm glad it won in 2010 since my fav entry is a NQ! And no it's not Horehronie.

Bonus cut because I'm feeling creatively inspired...

39. Vilija Matačiūnaitė - Attention

Okay this might seem like a random entry to have but it's just so fun and paved the way for Fusedmarc as a Lithuanian screamy ponytail trainwreck. I just love the song? ATTENSHUN!!! ATTENSHUN!!!!!! She just screamed and it actually got her to 11th in the semi which I am so proud of! xromance Vilija wrote this psycho song all by herself and performed it herself, amazing! YOU SAW ME CHATTING WITH MY GIRLS AT BAR...CHOO...WE'RE ALL PRETTY. The ~message~ is so powerful and it was a feminist statement that was too far advanced for Europe in 2014. :/ 2014 had some incredibly tragic NQs and this is up there. Norway/Finland/Malta over this? I'm gonna gonna make them FALL. I'm not gonna ask you buy me diamonds.

Yaaaas! But also nooo why did you do this. Before the show I absolutely LOVED Jana and her song, Jana is just so fun & awkward and it was like NoMa was finally getting into the groove of things (which they have - I liked this/Lost & Found/Proud) But then rehearsals started and it was not looking good for our awkward queen of Macedonia D: Her draw was pretty bleh and well, she wasn't the best singer. BUT the song was just so fun and trendy that like, it felt like it deserved to make the final anyway? if it was from Sweden it would have qualified hmph! I love the beat and how she walks around the stage letting the pavement be her catwalk. Most legendary lyric ever YES? And she got the airtime by being PROPOSED to we love you Jana! Come back! We'll always have the studio version.

Hello legendary? Obviously I was reminded of this entry by Ilinca's stint as spokeswoman but it's just so funny lol. Yodeling queen capturing the hearts of Europe with her awkward beta male who was in LOVE with her? Yes...The song is like...objectively bad. The entire stadium is SILENT during their thing like okay? But Ilinca did what she had to do and got like 220 points from televoters :') And omg another aspect of it the cannon that kept failing during rehearsals ;-; what a mess. But OBVIOUSLY it is amazing and the best Romanian entry this decade! Yodelelelelelelho

I am a firm believer that Ukraine is the best country in this contest. Obviously Europe was NOT ready for a Maruv win unfortunately but they keep sending FIERCE women and Gaitana is the first of four on this list. Congolese legend! The song is like, not that great. It aged fast and is very 2012 with the EDM/dubstep but legend GAITANA sells it. She poured her heart out on this performance and served what she had to. Ofc she got 15th so it's one of Ukraine's worst placements but I adore her anyway. WELCOME girl and boy. BE MY FRIEND YOU ARE FREE TO LIVE YOUR LIFE TO SHARE YOUR LOVE WITH ONEE.......omg. Love this song. And I don't like 2012 much so gj Gaitana

What an absolutely awful song, awful singers, everything about it was so awful lol. IF WE ALL LIGHT A CANDLE. I just love it though? Anita is like one of my fav Eurovision entities ever, she's so scrump and bad at singing but she made it work and we love you! Maybe if they had a better song...ALL LAIDA CANDLE...WEED EELOOMINAID THE NIGHT...YES WE SHOOD! So yes this is my 35th fav this decade, sooo sorry...

Yaaas Dami! I am a total Dami stan, transparent, basic gay fav, w.e. I won't comment on whether I think it deserved to beat Jamala she might be higher than her she might not! But this song is just very solid, modern and good. Dami has an amaaazing voice and killed it on stage. I dunno what to say other than it's pretty flawless, aside from the song could have been better. Bring Dami back! Love how she sat on the box too. I did feel bad for her personally when she didn't win. ONE of these years Australia since everything you have sent has been at least ~good~ except for um...2017 and 2018.

Absolute angels. What a shining light in 2012 which was pretty dull aside from this. What a unique entry in Eurovision history and if you don't have it in top 50 I might be judging you? A lot. I mentioned I followed the 2010 selections and I remember them from there which this song that I actually find cuter than their actual ESC one? ;_;

Imagine this over Lost and Forgotten? ty. As for PFE it is amazing and sooo Eurovision and also Russia sending something that they didn't think would win and getting 2nd. Their best result this decade along with Polina who is one of the only other Russian entries I can stand omg angel but she isn't on this list. Cooking bread on stage is obvi iconic and had everyone fall in love with them.

When ya daúwwwn daúúween lauww.... this song is just a nice catchy song with a good hook and beat! It made for a good opener in the final which I think 2 other openers at least are on this list! Yay! Something fun from Slovenia which they usually do (except 2017 yeugh) and I don't have much else to say except I think it's very pleasant. Her voice is really unique & ik the piano isn't live but the piano was good too. NOT sure about her choice to wear headphones but lol, it kinda worked for her? 14th was good!

FAIGHTAH. OXIMATED. This goth QUEEN! Malfunctioning smoke machine whatever. She put in the most random words/lyrics/rhymes and it was just so fierce from start to end. VAHLENCE! WIGS ARE GONNA SPREAD OUT! Like her entire look was so amazing with the staging and her wings...my Georgian goth queen. My #1 entry of the 2000s is Visionary Dream and she was giving me the quirkiness from Georgia that I expect. Such a powerful song and robbed of top 10. We want her back!

2018 finally takes a hit! Remember when this was winning and was gonna be so powerful? Ugh I just feel like it got lost in the crowd, there wasn't much wrong in the performance except the running order. And her shoes. But when you get 1st half idk what you can do. Song-wise I think it is the best of 2018 but it's still 5th in the ranking since the others resonated more with me. And the message is beautiful. This entire time though I thought it said connoisseur de BRIE like some kind of cheese expert? But it's Prix. :cry

I am shocked this is only my 5th fav from this year, I am still absolutely BLINDSIDED that this did as bad as it did, I thought it was destined for 5th--6th :/ Fuck you televoters and fuck you EBU for putting this 1st! I mean I get they needed a good opener but it wasn't that memorable by the end. Going into the contest this went from like my 30th fav which I was meh on and GREW on me through the months to becoming my ultimate fav. Then it's 5th post show "/ I think her outfit coulda been better but she was perfectly fine live, the jurors clearly had worms in their brains. It's such a unique song and is definitely a grower. Give me WATER I'm a SWIMMER and just send Michela like 5 more times, she's only 18 so has time to be the next Valentina. Chama chameleon~
