Since the songs for the 2011 ESC are not the best compared to last year and 2009, do you think we'll have a runaway winner, as it was in 2009, or a close tie as it was in 1998 ?

I think we could have a close tie for 2-3 countries...

Hm.. If I consider the case that none of the songs really stand out, I think we'll have a tie between 2 or 3 countries. But ofc all the songs aren't chosen yet so.. we'll have to wait a lil' bit :D

I also think we will not have a runaway winner this edition. It could be a very exciting voting (like the one in 2003), as no song stands out a lot from the rest.

It will be a close tie.
There is no song this year, that could make a runaway like in the last two years.

I'd say close, which is actually a good thing, because it'll make the voting part exciting again, in 2009 and 2010 you sorta knew the winner in forehand and after half the voting it was already obvious for the viewer.

I think it will be a close tie, I wanna say there are gonna be a lot of Slavic countries in the top 10 this year, the songs from that region this year are a lot better than the rest I wanna say.

If UK chooses a pretty good song, it will be more than 20 points difference. Otherwise, it might be close.

Though it's a little bit too early to make a prediction as we still don't know all of the songs I expect another clear result in 2011.

As you remember last year we had no clear favorite in the betting odds whatsoever it was a close race until the very end between several countries but in the end Germany convinced with a great live performance impressing the televoters and juries. And depending on the performance one or two songs may just benefit from a great and likable live show setting themselves apart from the rest.

So my prediction is to have a clear winner but we won't know until may 14th who that is going to be.

If the United Kingdom wins (without knowing the song atm), I think we may have about a 20 point lead or something. If, for example, it's Russia, then I think they will have a larger lead, maybe 30-40 points, but certainly no absolute run-away (unless Blue's song is spectacular).

For me German song stands out, but I doubt Lena will win again. She will be in top 10 imo :)

I don't know but what i truely hope it's that Poland, France, Hungary, Estonia are all going to be in the top 10 this year, even the top 5.

They are great members of the eurovision family and haven't achieve great great result for a long time and their songs are really among the best this year.

I wouldn't mind Slovenia either, as it's good esc country and it hasn't been anyway near the top for a very long time too and everybody but me seems to think it's a great song:D

I like Bulgaria, Serbia & Croatia a lot too but here it's more personnal taste.

Anyway i think country that does usually not well made an effort this year and i want to see them rewarded!

I have nothing against Ukraine, Armenia & Greece, those are great esc countries but these year they aren't good enough in my opinion.

It will be an amazing esc if the fight is between France & Hungary or Estonia & Poland for me.

It could be so close this year.

Norway, Estonia, Germany, Russia, France - they could all win. And even UK and Sweden might be added to those 5 favorites as soon as we know their songs.

Much more exciting than last year where you just knew it was gonna be either Germany or Azerbaijan.

Close tie for now ... only if some of the remaining countries will have some "boom" song which can easily win

I don't think we have to expect a lot from :az:, :by:, :sm:...

Maybe :se: will be a little boom boom if they send Eric Saade, but won't win with that
