Yes, everyone below top 10 with the jury members and televote get´s 11th place, and this is that result

I saw now a little error in my counting, I will fix that

it's not very different but i like this more than the actual results other than finland NQing and france falling. also, i have grown weary of the current vote reveal. let's go back to this one please!!

I don't like this old system, at all. It looks unfair. It is bad if you do badly with the juries (example 26th place), then you automatically get 0 points from public in that country, even if you were in top10 (10th place), and other way. They were combining public vote with the jury vote, and then final ranking out of it would be made. Now, all votes counts, if anything else. Every vote matters now.

So this is the thanks I get for taking time to calculate those results, so how do you count, i take all 5 juries ranks for each song, divide it with 5 to get a value, and then add that score up with the televote rank which gives the actual 50/50 points 1-8, 10 and 12

lolita: I think you mean the 2013-2015 system or? In this old 2009-2012 system, no sides points can get totally neutralized, I´m pretty sure we would have ended up somewhere between 12-16th place with 2013-2015 system because of the bad televote results

Every Jurymember gives 12,10,8-1 Points to their 10 Favs and the Song that gets the Most Points gets the 12 overall and in Case of a draw, the Song that got Points from more Countries gets the higher Amount of Points.

Btw.. Here somebody calculated the Result with the 2009-2012 System, but not sure if he alculated the Jurypoints correctly (https://www.escxtra.com/2018/05/13/eurovision-results-old-system/).

I give you some examples which doesnt make sense in your Calculations:

Macedonia: Bulgaria got 0+7 Jury and Televotes and 7 overall while Estonia got 12+0 Jury and Televotes and 4 overall.
Georgia: Ukraine got 0+8 Jury and Televotes and 5 overall while Sweden got 12+0 Jury and Televotes and 4 overall.
Latvia: Israel got 0+8 Jury and Televotes and 8 overall while Sweden got 12+0 Televotes and 7 overall.
Latvia: Denmark and Czech got both 0 from the Juries, Denmark got 5 from the TV and Czech 4 but overall Denmark got 3 and Czech 4.
Latvia: Australia got 10 Jurypoints with the Old System instead of 6 + 0 Televotes and only 2 overall, while Italy got 0+5 Jury and TVs and 5 overall.
Kroatia: Lithuania got 12+0 Jury and Televotes and only 4 overall while Slovenia got 0+7 Jury and Televotes and 5 overall etc..

Yes, I was thinking exactly about that system, it was the worst system, in my opinion, many contestants were complaining about it, too. These new changes are better, I love the fact that winning songs get so many points also. Maybe Benjamin would be placed like Robin Stjernberg was, 13th or 14th, something like that.

I´m pretty sure both we and would have placed much lower because of the huge differences between our jury and televoting result

Yes, and many other countries with huge differences. I hope that EBU will never get back to that system again.

Glad we got rid of this system lol. Hated it ever since us Brits like all voted for the Polish butterchurners and then the jury placed them like last so they got 0...
