To all members of escYOUnited Forum,
When reporting content on Forum (post, thread, member etc.), make sure that your Report is correctly structured so the Administration can review it properly and take further actions when necessary. Below is a general guideline of what should and what should not be included in a Report.
1. Keep your Report as laconic as possible.

When reporting content on Forum (post, thread, member etc.), make sure that your Report is correctly structured so the Administration can review it properly and take further actions when necessary. Below is a general guideline of what should and what should not be included in a Report.
1. Keep your Report as laconic as possible.
– When reporting content, explain your problem in a nutshell. There is no need to stuff it with poetry and witty remarks or paragraph long philosophical sentences to shine with your C2 English and manipulate with the Administration while adding zero value to the initial Report.
Correct examples: "Member A breaking Board Rule No.(s) N", "Inappropriate behavior/language etc. (perfectly fine to use when unsure which Rule(s))", "Spam"
Before reporting content read the Board Rules: https://www.escunited.com/forum/threads/board-rules.4627/
2. Do not report content that was posted long time ago.– If you report content that was posted 10 years ago then we are not going to review it. Sanctioning someone who has not been on Forum since 2017 makes no sense.
3. Do not use the Report button as toy or weapon to express your personal dissatisfaction with Administration's work on Forum.– Time to time from several members of the community we receive the following form of Reports:
"..."explanation of problem here" and then next to it: "why is this allowed? Where is Administration looking at?? How can you guys even be part of the Administration? I would do things differently " etc. including educational paragraphs telling us how to do our job properly. If you are eager to do things differently, then you are welcome to become a Super Moderator yourself by applying for the position when Administrators are looking for new Super Moderators. Then you can share your ideas and educate the rest of the Team but do not use this as part of your Report.
4. Do not demand warnings or bans in your Report.– We are reviewing each case individually based on two major principles: how severe the violation of Board Rules is and member's history. Based on that we make the decision whether a further action should be taken.
Further actions:
– Content removal;
– Warning;
– Reply ban;
– Temporary ban;
– Permanent ban.
Conclusion: do not expect someone to receive a permanent ban after breaking e.g. Board Rule No. 1 for the first time ever.
5. Usage of the Report button to solve a technical problem.– It is allowed. You can report things like your own double posts or your own posts that need some kind of modification that you can not do yourself. You can also look for help by starting a Conversation with one of the Super Moderators or Administrators.
6. Reporting a Staff member.– Nobody is an angel and everyone commits mistakes, including Staff members of the Forum. If you witness a section Moderator (OM, FSC, NSC, WV) or a Super Moderator breaking/abusing the Board Rules or behaving in an inappropriate way, do not hesitate and reach a Super Moderator or Administrator in first case or an Administrator in second case. They will review the case and take further actions if necessary.
