Sweden and SVT will kick of our preview show on Monday. I know Germany has started their too. Is there more countries who will do previews??? Can anyone post the scores from your country? As example, is there anyone from Germany who can give us updates from the German preview show?

I think it would be interesting to see what "music experts" from different countries think about this years entries.

GERMANY'S Preview videos can be found here: http://www.eurovision.de/videos/index.html

Our previews can be watched on the German Eurovision-Homepage (http://www.eurovision.de/videos/index.html). If there are new preview videos, they appear there.
Music/Eurovision "experts" are talking about this year´s Eurovision entries and rate the songs. But this shows aren´t aired on TV.

Thank you for the answer. Thanks for the link to the German preview videos. Strange points so far. Hungary 12?? Montenegro 8? Turkey 10? But only 7 to Cyprus and 4 to Romania. The best songs are so low.

We used to have a preview show. Actually it's the exact same show that you swedes keep alive now. That was back when Infør Eurovision also had a Danish, Icelandic and a Norwegian jury. I miss that program, it's not really the same anymore. :(

I completely agree!!!! I miss the old NORDIC preview show. That was great.

Now it's boring to just hear swedish and little finnish opinions about the songs. I want to hear the opinions from Denmark, Norway and Iceland too.

But why did the stop the old show? What were the reasons to that? I can't remember.

You guys are so lucky. 99% of Brits hear the songs for the first time at the contest :(

We used to get a preview show over here in Ireland where they would go through all of the songs but it hasn't happened in recent years.

It was pretty cool, Marty Whelan would host it so you got some banter and thoughts from him too. It was nicer than just going through all the songs on youtube...plus it was more accessible for people who wouldn't search the internet looking for what is coming up in Eurovision.

That scoring is appalling. Montenegro with 12? Romania with 17?

In Estonia they just show the Official videos from Eurovision.tv
7 videos in each show. Started since 14th April.

That's how it looks like:

They have added the Estonian lyrics =)

Few years back, I think in 2007 there were also people who told their opinion about the songs, but then they showed only like 1 minute from the song.

New preview videos ("songcheck") added at the german site:

http://www.eurovision.de/videos/videoindex101_archiveID-videoarchiv167.html
(in german)

Reviewed by different (random?) people, mainly from local radio stations and Peter Urban, the german ESC commentator so far.
Hm, their valuations or tastes (or whatever) are, let's say...varying. :?
I'm always a bit anxious before watching a new "songcheck" video, tbh. :p

So far reviewed (random order):
Moldova, San Marino, Serbia, Norway, Austria, Estonia, Iceland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Slovenia, Israel, Russia, UK, Macedonia, Cyprus, Hungary, Turkey, Romania, Montenegro, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, Croatia, Belarus, Albania, Finland, Denmark, Slovakia, Switzerland, Portugal, Bulgaria, Georgia, France, Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Latvia, Bosnia & Herz., Greece, Ireland, Italy.

A few days ago, ARD had already started to put some of them (3 or 4) on youtube, but now these videos have been marked as "private" again. xshrug

The scoreboard from today.

(Israel, San Marino, Cyprus, Denmark, Russia, Hungary, Austria, Moldova, Ireland)

Christer Björkman also said that the Swedish NF jury had Waterline as a candidate to participate with Eric Saade singing both 2010 and 2011 but they didn't think it was good enough.
