The 2 minute fillers designed to distract attention while the stage is being cleared from the previous act/set up for the next act have become an integral part of the show since the mid 90's. Discuss.

I personally loved the postcards in 2008 - the men throwing paint everywhere.

2010 were my favourite postcards of all time! 2009 second and then maybe 2006 a long way behind in third place ;).

I liked the 2011 postcards... but most of the postcards in recent years were good

I have to admit I loved the ones in 2011, too.
They clearly belong to my personal favourite part(s) of 'our' german show...

Nice idea to use 'tilt-shift-effect', btw. :)

And I really loved the spirit of this:

But as been said already - most of the postcards in recent years were good.
I also liked 2010, 09 & 08 very much. :)

Although cheesy, I liked the 2002 postcards... with all the fairytales, and the ones in Helsinki 2007 were so random too! I remember the Slovenian postcard with the mummy bending and picking things with her feet

2008-2011 were all amazing. I don't feel like thinking about postcards prior to 2000 at the moment.

I always think they should do postcards related to the song titles... recreate the title via the postcard! That would be fun & a great challenge for some titles!!

2007's postcards were so cute,i still remember Poland's,there was an exam and one of the pupils was copying from all over the class, even teacher :D
2009's postcards are also in my mind, they were unique.I like to see that kind of postcards then seeing ''oh look how beautiful my country is'' kinda postcards like 2012's.My friend said ''Is there will be a 'land of lands'?''
But to me,the best is 2008's,especially Turkey's :D I love my flag more when it's made by strawberries :D

What attribute does have 2010? xthink Just singers have seen, and flag, and people from hometown. my opinion is very slipshod.

I don't know so much postcards but 2011 is best to me. Especially the part of "Feel your heartbeat" is in all postcards, voice or wroten.

That's exactly the charm of it! It's simple and "close to home" :D.

Actually it mostly looks like, they did not want to give any attention to also postcards. And they found this method. At least I think so. Cuz you know, stage even was horrible :( Grand Prix's stage is better than that :?

2009 and 2010 were the most innovative ones and with coolest effects imo.

I don't like postcards like for instance Sweden 2000 or Finland 2006, not fond of the whole 'let's have short sketches' idea.

I'm ok with countries promoting themselves via postcards, but only if it's done in a smart or good-looking way, and not some cliché Travel Channel thing.

From the last 5 years, i think :se: got the best postcard, artists in their home country, that's what i want to see xpopcorn.

And then :ru: because of the unique design of showing another countries and themself xup.

Then :de: because of the tilt-shift effect,i don't really like the promoting thing, but i really like the concept of people from other countries went to Germany, and "Feel Your Heart Beat" in other languages, brilliant.

Then :az: , tourist advertising (by the Land of Dictatorship) at its best SOOC , made by Germans xfacepalm (CMIIW).

And the last, with the balls being flags, maps, and displays which displayed the fans from the home country, which looked pretty cheap SOOC (same as the stage SOOC), their concept of showing the home countries are great, but the presentation is just uninteresting
