The approach Portugal has taken following the years of returning is largely commendable especially that FdC has been constantly producing songs and winners matching their style.

I truly hope we can continue this route

Peculiar revealed in his podcast that he submitted a song for this year's Festival da Canção, he didn't made the cut for Festival da Canção 2024, but I think it's very likely that the broadcaster will invite him to compete in 2025.

Someone I'm a bit surprised nobody mentioned is Jüra.
I'm not a really fan of her songs, but she recently performed a medley of her songs during an awards show and she has star power, it may not be fully developed yet, but I would really like to see her at Festival next year or the year after.
The live medley:

Salvador Sobral gave them the template to follow that path. Portugal found their identity and being successful at the juries simultaneously. If its not broke dont fix it. Dora will likely do the same formula after Baby Lasagna's success unless HRT want to be broke.

The problem with Croatia is that they don't really have a good music industry.

Someone that I discovered this summer and that could be a great addition to Festival da Canção's lineup is the rapper Maudito:

She would never participate, but something like this:

I would love to see Ana Moura in Festival, but she was there in 2019 when Conan Osiris got hate from basically everyone and considering that 2024 was the year of harrasment in both Festival da Canção and Eurovision, I doubt that she will ever consider submiting helself to that
