Aldona Dąbrowska and Sławomir Sokołowski - composers of the Polish song for JESC 2024!

I would like to present this year's authors of the Polish entry for Junior Eurovision 2024:
1. Sławomir Sokołowski was born in 1954. Aldona Dąbrowska was born on February 7, 1972 in Trzcianka in the present-day Greater Poland Voivodeship.
2. The duo of composers of the song for Dominik Arim is known from old dance bands such as Bolter (only in the case of Mr. Sokołowski) and, above all, Amadeo. The main songs of the Bolter band are "Daj mi tę noc (Give me this night)", "Nic do stracenia (Nothing to lose) " and "Więcej Słońca (More sun)". The first song won the award in the premiere competition during the XXII National Festival of Polish Song in Opole in 1985. For the song by Sławomir Sokołowski "Daj mi tę noc (Give me this night" they won the "Karolinka" award and the award in the „Premiere" competition.
In turn, the band, active in the years 1995-1997, recorded several cassettes and albums, which included songs such as "Amadeo", "J23", "Letni Wiatr (Summer Wind)", "Róża Wschodu (Rose of the East)" and "Świat ci podaruje (The world will give you)" and, among others, a cover of "Pszczółka Maja (Maja - The Bee)" from the repertoire of Zbigniew Wodecki. Karol Kus, who as the leader of the Taraka band took part in the Krajowe Eliminacje (National Eliminations) for Eurovision 2016, collaborated with the Amadeo band. Amadeo is... legendary dance group from 90's in Poland. The main vocalist of the band Amadeo was Aldona Dabrowska, while the gentlemen performing in the band (including Sławomir Sokołowski) not only played and sang but also added rap inserts, most often in English.
Below are selected songs from the repertoire of both bands:
BOLTER:
Daj mi tę noc (Give me this night) :
- New version from Bolter group:
- Version by Amadeo:
Nic do stracenia (Nothing to lose) :
- Version by Amadeo:
Więcej słońca (More sun) :
AMADEO:
Authors songs:
Amadeo:
J23:
Letni Wiatr (Summer Wind) :
Róża Wschodu (Roses of the East) :
Świat ci podaruje (The world will give you) :
- Version of this song with the Bayer band Full:
Chcę (I want):
Czy pamiętasz (Do you remember) :
Wciąż cię kocham (I still love you) :

Covers:
J23:
Pszczółka Maja:
3. The Polish mix of songs by the band "Dschingis Khan" representing Germany in 1979 comes from the time of the Amadeo band:
A revamp of this mix - in my opinion a bit unsuccessful:
4. The songs of the band Amadeo were released by Omega Music and in the 90s they were presented as part of the program "Disco Relax" on Polsat Television.
5. Aldona Dąbrowska and Sławomir Sokołowski are also known for their collaborations with other artists, including Bohdan Smoleń and the Bayer Full band on the disco-polo side, and Stachursky, Andrzej Cierniewski, Alicja Bachleda-Curuś, Gabriel Fleszar (including his hit "Kroplą Deszczu"), Maja Kraft, Paweł Stasiak, Bartek Wrona and Asia Si on the pop side. In addition, in the 1980s Sławomir Sokołowski also collaborated with Krzysztof Krawczyk, Lora Szafran and Anna Jurksztowicz. In the case of songs recorded with the late Bohdan Smoleń, Ms. Aldona Dąbrowska also participated vocally, as exemplified by the following songs:
Szalałeś, Szalałeś (You were crazy, You were crazy) :
Amerykańska gra (American game) :
6. Magdalena (who is the daughter of Mr. Sławomir Sokołowski) also received her songs from the aforementioned composers. She received a number of songs, the main one being the song "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" by the Swedish band Sonic Dream Collective translated into Polish, and surprisingly, without the consent of his team, who were surprised to hear the Polish version of their song titled "Nie jestem zła (I'm not bad)".
The Swedish band's production team commented on it as follows:

Listen both version that song
Sonic Dream Collective from Sweden:
Magdalena from Poland:
In addition to the aforementioned song, the song "Malowana Lala (Painted Doll)" inspired by the song "Don't Breaking My Heart" by Ace of Base was also released:
Another song from Magdalena is:
Tańcz, Tańcz (Dance, Dance) :
As for this vocalist, there are suspicions that Aldona Dąbrowska is singing instead of her.
7. The aforementioned duo of composers created boysband Just 5 and band The Jet Set, for whom he also composed songs.
8. Interestingly, the Dąbrowska-Sokołowski duo was also responsible for the pre-selection and competition songs "How Many People" and "Time to Party" by The Jet Set and "Color of Your Life" by Michał Szpak, i.e. the Polish representatives at the adult Eurovision in 2007 and 2016.
9. In the case of songs for the adult Eurovision, the authors of this year's song at JESC hid under pseudonyms such as Andy Palmer and Mateusz Krezan in the case of Sławomir Sokołowski and Kamil Varen in the case of Aldona Dąbrowska.
10. The aforementioned composers also created a solo album by Sasha Strunin, a representative of our country at the adult competition in Helsinki 17 years ago, as well as the albums "Byle być sobą (Just to be yourself) " and "Dreamer" by Michał Szpak. And it is to the song "Jesteś bohaterem" by the Polish representative from Eurovision 2016 that the song selected by TVP for JESC 2024 is compared.

Hey everyone! I think Dominik Arim’s “All Together” is a solid entry for Poland. His voice is fantastic, and the song’s message is sweet, but the style feels a bit outdated—like early 2000s vibes. If the live performance brings strong emotions and creative staging, it could really stand out. Hoping Dominik surprises us in Madrid! :D
