It's actually the artist's origin that counts always in spin offs ;)

Usually a movie and the artist who sings the soundtrack is from the same country, but this is not always true.

For example, you can't choose Germany and send a song from a German movie that is performed by an American.

Yeah I'd say it's the artist's origin that matters most. I'd highly prefer the movie was from that country too. I mean... it would probably be the case anyway haha.
