NSC Awards 2010 - Music Awards in.........? =)

Hello NSC!

It's getting colder outside and Christmas is just a few weeks away which can only mean one thing - another year of NSC is drawing to a close. By my calculations NSC 62 will run into next year so it's about time that we begin to sort out the situation for the 4th annual NSC awards ceremony!

Last year the awards were split for the first time ever - Music awards were hosted in Comino to celebrate the music that we hear in the contest, and General awards (last year in RLD/Yaponesia) to celebrate the other vital part of the contest - its members!

First things first we need to discuss about hosts and whatnot, so if anyone is willing to host either event post in this topic and you can find out more information either from previous hosts or the mod team

Second thing up for discussion is the awards themselves. This list often changes year on year with the expansion and time that passes with the contest so if you have any problems/queries/suggestions about these awards and any changes we could use then look through the list below and post the changes you would like to see

Finally the third thing that we should discuss is the format that these awards will take place in i.e. timeframe, method of reveal etc. so that is something else that we should consider for this.

This is all I have to say for now I guess so now I'm gonna hand it over to you. I would imagine that 2010 comprises of the editions from 47 to 62 so these are the songs and editions' worth of content that we should be considering

I'd change this Best ethnic (non-English language) song as non english and ethnic songs are totally different. So we could have both of those categories.

Btw, can't wait for NSC Awards. It will be my first one, so I am excited!

Hookay I think we should start deciding some things for this as soon as possible and the main thing to sort out is the hosts. If you'd like to host please PM me saying which awards ceremony you would like to host (either Music or General) by FRIDAY 17TH DECEMBER AT 19:00 CET. Then we can agree on who should host what through a vote or some other fairer system if people are able to come up with one. If too many people (or all) choose to go for one of the ceremonies I will re-allocate some people so it may be a basis of first come first served, but of course we would love it if you wanted to host either Get PMing! I'll already count Liam, FabiESC and strajker as possible hosts but if you three could tell me your preferences for hosting it would be much appreciated

What would ethnic category stand for? Folk? Non-english artist? Lyrics in mothertoungue?

Anyway, three people have applied to host the Music awards so let's start voting. You can choose between:

If the applicants want to state their case as to why they should host, feel free.
