I think this is the first time that two nations (Papendink and Elvaci) have entered songs on my future-entries list  It's very rare for that to happen even once in an edition. What can I say, you have great taste ;)

Hello everyone! This is your first of the two reminders that I am yet to receive your semi votes. The deadline is approaching in less than 72 hours.

Please make sure to send votes on time as the semi results show and the final thread will have to be prepared right after the deadline due to tight schedule. Therefore NO late votes will be accepted or extensions given. I hope you can respect that.

Food tierlist for this semi:

S Onion, Almonds, Corn (On a cob)
A Potato, Apple (Green, red apples would be C tier)
B Mushroom, Chives, Ginger, Tomato, Green Onion, Pomegranate
C Carrot, Chickpea, Eggplant, Fig, Cabbage, Radicchio, Kale, Sea Kale, Turmeric, Soybean, Lentil, Shallot, Zucchini
D Corn, Spinach
E Turnip
F Brussel Sprouts

Sweetcorn is kind of funny to me. I don't like it loose from the can but if it's still on the cob and has butter on it I'll go crazy for it. I think I like it more when it's part of a dish too....as a salad food I can't get behind it.

Tbh my only understanding of a fig is based on the fig roll biscuits....and I like them well enough. I also don't think I've tasted Radicchio before, I'm going to assume it's similar to cabbage? Same for sea kale, assuming it's like regular kale...

I don't think I've had artichoke either, a lot more in this semi I haven't tried...

I'll eat anything, except mushrooms. The only food I seriously despise. Just hate the texture mainly, and the earthy flavour with it... I eat mussels, and oysters, which basically have the same texture, but I much prefer the briny taste of them.

On the other hand, I'm team brussel sprouts all the way, probably one of my favourite vegetables. Char them in a skillet, and glaze with Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and a touch of soy sauce. Just try it!

Agreed, brussel sprouts are amazing when cooked correctly. In the UK it's common for people to hate them, but I think that's because they just boil them...

As soon as I tried roasting them with garlic, onion, etc., it completely changed my opinion of them. Dijon mustard sounds like it would work great too!

Eww parsnips.

Although I like carrot and parsnip soup, but parsnip on it's own is not for me...

What this show is really missing is the glorious...

speaking of other fruits i'm in love with, those are: Quince 💚 and Persimmon 🧡(especially those which are harder inside, they are called "karalyok" here and afaik those are male fruits). another interesting discovery for me is Cornelian cherry (dogwood) ❤️not that i'm a big fan of its sour taste, but it became so symbolic to me after travelling across Armenia and especially after visiting the beautiful town of Goris 🥰

i also like plums, pears, blueberries, blackberries, mulberries. as for strawberries, i prefer them dried and candied :) and i just remembered one more berry that is very special to me... it's Cloudberry 🧡, a Karelian national berry (where i was born). its taste is so unique and inimitable 🤤

and yes, i love Figs both dried and fresh, they are so gooooood both ways 🥰🥰

I loooove mushrooms, literally eat them almost every day so they're the perfect choice for my banner xheat For some reason I've had a burning hatred for sweetcorn ever since I was a kid, and even now as an adult I won't eat anything with it in... more or less the only food I won't eat
