It is a privilege to host this vibrant celebration of music, creativity, and connection, where our diverse community gathers to share the universal language of song.
This edition is themed around the idea of ‘holding space’: this theme invites us to embrace a profound yet simple concept - making room for each other. Whether it’s offering support in challenging times, celebrating moments of triumph, or simply being present, holding space is a gift we give one another, a gentle acknowledgment that we are all seen, valued, and understood.
Tonight, as the first semifinal unfolds, we’ll experience this in the truest sense.
The songs you’re about to hear represent a kaleidoscope of emotions, cultures, and ideas.
Together, we hold space for these voices to resonate, inspire, and move us.
