Welcome back to Vardychinov Arena for the final of the 67th Nation Song Contest!
52 nations competed in the semi-finals in one of the most intense competitions in recent years and 22 worthy songs have reached the final. They have been joined by the lucky 6 prequalified nations to make 28 competing songs, all vying to become the 67th champion of the contest.
Vardychinov Arena is once again packed full of fans from across the planet and the excitement has reached fever pitch once again. Let's take a look at the stage the whole of Natia will be watching:
It's a special time for the island as the biggest event in Cydu history comes to it's most exciting stage. Therefore, it is very fitting that the previous contest victors should perform to the crowd. The Naked And Famous will perform "Punching In A Dream" for us now:
The next winner can only be decided by YOUR votes, as the best song can only be decided once all of the votes have arrived. Because of this, it's important we get the show going and see the competing songs. Let's go!
14 songs have been performed and 14 are left, so now would be a good time to have an interval. If you need a break then please take one but if you're ready for more music then have a listen to the song that came close to winning in the previous edition.
Back to the finalists!
Should you need it, here is a recap of all 28 entries:
Thanks to Orian for the amazing recap!
28 nations have done all they can to get your points and it's now over to you to decide the winner. Vote via PM to Sean (click here), using the Eurovision system (12 to your favourite, then 10 and 8-1 to the rest of your Top 10) before the deadline of Friday 6th May, at 20:00 CET. The results will be held the following day, so don't forget to join us!
Waiting List nations must also send their votes to Sean before the above deadline, as part of the Waiting List jury. Alinta, Tohru and Nukuland may also vote in this jury if they so wish, but it is not compulsory.
All 58 participants in this contest must vote, including the 30 nations that failed to qualify. If you did not qualify and fail to vote you will be disqualified from entry to NSC 68, so it's important you vote! Finalists who fail to vote will have 75% of their score deducted, so don't ruin your chances
We hope you enjoyed this show, good luck to all of the participating nations and let the voting begin!
