Ooh… oh… oh…

Ra! Ra!

All the mountains, all the seas
All the winds are dancing hora
It’s a dance you’ve never seen
From my country called Moldova

?ai lalai la… ?i zborul (Shai lalai la… and the flight)
?ai lalai la… duce dorul (Shai lalai la… brings sorrow)
Dans de foc al iubirii joc (In the fire of a love’s game)
E hora din Moldova! Ru! (It’s the dance from Moldova! Ru!

Când o iube?ti te r?sfat? (When you love it, it spoils you)
Când o-nvârtesti i?i da via?a (When you spin it, it gives you life)
To?i cu foc se avânta-n joc (Everybody with fire dash into the game)
E cu noroc (Because it brings luck)

Ra, he hei, he hei (Ra, he hey, he hey)
Hai la hora, hai la hora din Moldova (Come to the dance, come to the dance from Moldova)
Ra, he hei, he hei (Ra, he hey, he hey)
Lute-i hora, lute-i hora în Moldova (The dance is hot, the dance from Moldova is hot)

Ra, he hei, he hei (Ra, he hey, he hey)
Hai la hora, hai la hora din Moldova (Come to the dance, come to the dance from Moldova)
Ra he hei, he hei (Ra, he hey, he hey)
Lute-i hora, lute-i hora în Moldova (The dance is hot, the dance from Moldova is hot)

Foaie verde-a bobului, m?i (The green leaf of a pea plant, more)
Hop hop ?i-a?a (Jump, jump around)
P?i juca?i hora neamului (Come play our dance)
?i zi-i mai tare l?utare (Come shout louder musician)
S? se-aud?-n lumea mare (So all people can hear it)
Joac? hora mic ?i mare (Both young and older)
Hop ?i-a ?a, m?i (Jump, jump around, more)

All the seas, all the winds
All the feelings that you get from hora
All the day, past and nowaday
Oh the dance you wanna play

Ra, he hei, he hei (Ra, he hey, he hey)
Hai la hora, hai la hora din Moldova (Come to the dance, come to the dance from Moldova)
Ra he hei, he hei (Ra he hey, he hey)

The juries showed they did have some taste. They voted for this song more than the televoters did. I probably love this because it it so close to the Bulgarian folklore - typical Balkan. Love the presentation at the ESC and that there was still some Romanian. ;)

Yes! Thanx to Nelly, we could hear some Romanian words in ESC 2009 :D

I really liked the song...even before winning the final in Moldova, I knew this song will make a nice figure...

i laughed at this song the whole way through - in a good way though loved it  s nice mix of pop and ethnic, Romania should learn something from their neighbours after the balkan girls tripe!

well balkan girls was purely average and bland, nothing like Pe-o Margine De Lume and Tonero :? it could do with a different singer and a better beat. anywayz we are here to discuss moldova :) which was so much better.

It was one of my most fave songs, if not the most fave
Balkan tunes + retro Soviet feel (early 60's, 70's).
Also such music is typical for Ukraine, esp for villages and my area too )))
++ I've already knew Nelly, so she was my clear fave.

This song had more "serbian" elements (trumpets :D ) than our own entry

Really liked it, and still do. One of the best entries from Moldova for sure.

Yeah, not really.....i can see this one being appreciated by the eastern viewers and western ECS fans but the mainstream watchers probably didn't get it, just way too 'traditional' is the most appropriate word I can come up with.
Now I do give credit cause it's something different and culturally influenced song but unfortunately it was just too loud and chaotic for my taste.

This was one of the moments I enjoyed the most that night. Now I regret I didn't vote for this absolute MASTERPIECE. Nelly was also one of the best voices.

Best Moldovan entry ever and one of my favourite Eurovision songs EVER!!!!! woooo :D

After Natalia Barbu in 2007 this was my fave! Such an amazing performance.I was sad because Romania got 19th place but I was happy for Moldova. She is one of the best Moldova's voices.
Deserved better, she sang way better than others ;)

I'm not too big of a fan of Moldova's entries, but I do love this! I love the folk elements in it, and how joyous and jumpy it is. On a back stage video shot by Eurovision.tv, some of the other contenders were singing and dancing along while Nelly was performing this song :D
