That is bold! The symphonic strings, the retro-melody, the more than basic lyrics, the change of key, the short falsetto attempt! That is true trash-art! This is my guilty pleasure of this season so far.

The price for the dumbest rime goes to "fashion is my passion". Even worse than fire-desire. But there are some other gems in that song. OMG that is also really fun!

Ok, we start with latin vibe, but somehow we blend it with a slight eastern European vibe. That's an interesting attempt. Nothing for ESC for sure, but I think that goes on my playlist.
Valleria - A picture to myself
sounds a bit messy in the beginning, but it achieves to build some kind of nice tension. With a good staging, I could see this stand out. Some parts remind me of a "Welcome to the witch wood" in terms of vibe. This of course is much slower, but I feel some resemblance. Maybe that's just me.

Amazing to see our king of Moldovan hits, Tudor Bumbac has returned! Very excited to hear his song.
I've only listened to Silent Hills so far. I needed to find out if that name was just a coincidence but nope, it really does have a certain Akira Yamaoka-esque thing going on. It's making me think of Eartheater too (similar vibe to stuff from Phoenix: Flames Are Dew Upon My Skin). I really, really like it. It's so richly textured and beautiful. Such a surprise to find something like this in a Eurovision national final, and Moldova of all places.

i think her singing style is very special - further i've heard that she was sick (flu or so) last year on stage.
meanwhile i've heard all available songs and vallerias song is the only one i like but on the other hand i think that this song is not really made for the ESC.
