I know I know, but hear me out.
First and foremost, yes I am aware MBTI is (probably deservedly so) seen as pseudo-science, and while I don’t agree with all the criticisms (e.g. for me the texts about the personality types go beyond Barnum statements, they’re a bit too detailed to still be considered such), MBTI is for sure something that should not be taken too seriously. However, I do think it’s fun and I do use it to reflect my behavior or thoughts at times. And while it’s very unlikely that this is the case, I thought it could be fun to analyse a little if there is an overlap between our song preferences and our MBTI type.
If you are unfamiliar with MBTI:
If you want to find out what type you are or just find out some more general Information, I recommend this Website as a starting point (CLICK HERE) - though this is to be done with a bit of caution, as, like I said, the Internet likes to appropriate and this website is no better, however, it is the simplest and fastest description (and test). If that interests you, I suggest you keep looking for other sources though.
If you find this interesting, I would love to receive a PM from you with your type and your Top 37 (or comment it here) and if I get enough responses, I will make a little (unprofessional!) analysis and see if there are some interesting patterns.

If you are unfamiliar with MBTI:
it’s basically a psychological model that has been hijacked and appropriated by the internet and HR hiring teams to an extent that it now has a very bad rep, but (to me) is very interesting in it’s original purpose, which was to understand the thinking patterns of others by dividing humanity into sixteen different personality types (the aforementioned MBTI types) based on cognitive function preference (!) patterns. Like I Said, it should definitely not be taken too seriously because we all know we‘re all more individual than 16 cardboard cut-outs. But it can indeed be fun to analyse yourself a little with this Tool and see how much you agree or disagree.
