I'll break the ice and write first!

I don't know whether Macedonia will participate in Oslo, but I would like to see some new and interesting songs from SkopjeFest again (regardless if we participate or not). Like every year, I have a lot of favourites. Since jury comes on power in the semi-finals as well, I wanna see a person with a strong voice (By all means Gish is my fave, but there are others as well).

First it will be more than great to see our great singer Vlado Janevski!!!! He was robbed in Birmingham (he should have been in the top5 without even blinking). He will most likely do much better this time, if of-course he decides to participate.

"Ne zori zoro" - ESC 1998. This was officially our first entry. Macedonia was singing last in Birmingham and it is the last song in Eurovision sang with live instruments/orchestra.

Thanx for posting! I guess it'll be nice to have the extended selection process like last year, although I don't know how effective it'll be.
And hey, you never know guys, maybe this is the year Vlado &/or Karolina decide to give it another shot.

Xexe, yea it'd be cool if Lambe tried again, though he's tried 3 times already and nuffin But I'd love to see him again, and Kaliopi too - but I'd kind of rather she be chosen internally and then go from there.

Lol not sure who's most popular atm, Bojan needs to clue us in asap! Vlatko L. came in close last year, didn't he? He sounded great vocally...maybe he'll give it another shot.

I wish we had the list of participants right now. There's nothing to discuss.

After seeing him in 1998, I don't think he's very capable of anything spellbinding... I would love to see Elena Risteska try out again.

Maybe not spellbinding, no... (cute way of putting it btw)
But I do think he's one of our best singers and would like to see him return.

And speaking of Elena, she got a haircut! I know!
Well, I was shocked since I absolutely love her long hair, and haircuts can be a total fail sometimes. But I'm starting to warm up to it, after the initial shock.

I think she wants to go again. I guess it's just a matter of finding the right song.

I just read something on esctoday.com and I find out that they were giving awards (13 categories) for the best acts/performances/songs in the National finals. Well guess who won 2 awards (best male performance and best performance overall!)??

Personally, I believe that other Macedonians in the past have deserved it more. It doesn't matter. Congratulations to him. We finally won something esc-related (appart from Barbara Dex award :? ). After february, I haven't heard anything about Belov. Its such a waste that after all that fuzz from Operacija triumf, he is now pretty much forgotten. :|
Considering that all the awards went to Sweden and Norway, this was good. I don't know how much will it mean to him.

I know! Same here

The good thing is that we might expect something good from Koprov-Ognenovski (whatever the guy is who writes ballads). That is because Koprov works as a switch, off and on. Some really good songs came from him and some, well not so good ones.

The one that wanted to participate for Macedonia in 1996?! It would have been their debut entry if it hadn't been for that weird system of selecting who's in and who's out. And you know, that yeat the ESC was held in Oslo, as well, so it would be very logical.

after last years fiasko at Skopje Fest I don't think Kaliopi will EVER again participate in our NF... unless she's selected internally.

We will probably see Risto Samardziev. He won Makfest this year, I believe. He would be a good choice, as his songs are pretty good. I think Lambe might try out as well. He is having a humanitarian concert and Elena Risteska, Next Time and Vrchak will be his guests. I read somewhere, that at the moment he is the most popular and most wanted singer. Judging our media, I don't know how accurate this is.

An internal selection with Kaliopi as representative would be cool... and Lambe does seem to be pretty active. I hope we hear confirmation that he's participating soon.

the first confirmations of participants should come in early January I think, as the deadline for the submission of songs ends in the last quater of December.
