I found this on YT : the 2009 version of Refrain, the very first winning song :)


Quite interesting.

I also support her return for the 2012 ESC representing Switzerland ! :D

I guess Siegel's entry is better than 95% of the other songs in the selection. Still not much more than okay. I wish them (+ Lys Assia) best luck.

I have to say I quite like her this year's entry (even though I think it's too retro, but it could well turnout to something positive like Patricia Kaas in 2009), and I have my #1 fave in the Swiss NF :D

Lovely old-fashioned ballad, performed by Lys Assia whose charm doesn't seem to have faded with age. Will this decidedly retro song surprise us and win the NF? Too soon to tell.
