right... it's pretty much 100% between these two!

personally I think it should be Jerusalem. If it's Tel Aviv the it will be only the 3rd time this century ESC has been hosted outside a capital (Malmo & Dusseldorf) I want Israel to scale ESC down and have it in ICC like 1999 which wont happen but i would love that to happen because I think ESC should be scaled down

I support Jerusalem 2019!

Sure Tel-Aviv might be more, what I suppose you call "modern" (I prefer old cities though lol), and it looks suited to hosting a pop music competition. However, Jerusalem is such a special and important city, not just to Israel and the region, but the entire world! So much culture and history. So I'm definitely behind Jerusalem.

At the end of the day though, I support whatever Israel wants to go with. I would imagine they want Jerusalem, but if they go for Tel-Aviv, well I'm sure that will be a great hosting city too!

Tel Aviv would probbaly the better option. Lesser influence of the religious, lesser chance for creating drama on both sides of the political spectrum.

It's been already hosted by Jerusalem ... twice ... give it to Tel Aviv.
xthink ESC in Jerusalem and certain haters' buttholes exploding or Tel Aviv - gorgeous LGBT-friendly city by the seashore.
Happy with both options

I plan to go next year and hope for Tel Aviv, because I think, the atmosphere in the city would suite Eurovision more.

So Tel Aviv is the more cosmopolitan city, probably has better hotels, lies close to a beautiful sea. Also the best place to host ESC. It's a bit more LGBT-friendly and I guess it's also more liked by most people outside of Israel.

So it will be Jerusalem.

I am for Tel Aviv. Jerusalem is a boring city, I think. Tel Aviv probably more exciting. This is the city that I'd rather visit.

The decision is made and according to nationalistic Arutz 7 "sources close to the EBU" it's:

The announcement was delayed because the government is

I'm not gonna lie: I miss Portugal and RTP, when everything was simple, smooth and timely.

If they wasted four months just to pick the host city, I can't imagine how much time they'll need to organise the whole thing. :? Hurry up and get it together! I don't want a botched edition!

So far, it almost looks like Israel is hosting for the first time. That's disappointing, I wasn't expecting all this pointless drama.

I would like to comment that.

Who the hell those artists think they are ?

Israel should ban them from visiting.

I very much doubt that people like Ari Kaurismäki or Helmut Lotti would ever think of coming to the contest in the first place.
