Your vote matters!

Voiceover: Welcome to Idealvision, the place where the wrongs are set right, where the choice is at your finger tips, finger tips I tell you! Here are some ESC stars to elaborate.

Catarina Pereira: Don't you just wish sometimes that someone else should have won a national finals instead of someone else? I sure did.

Noa and Mira: Don't you say sometimes: “there must be another winner?”

Filipa Azevedo: Nope.

CP: Get out of here, it's my time, it's my time, my moment, I'm not gonna let go of it xsing.

FA: Shut it! I see someone coming, someone important.

Chiara Siracusa: *running towards the stage * I was Mother*(%$*ing robbed in 1998, 2005, and 2009. I know a thing or two about being robbed. What if we change the course of the voting? Yeah? Who's with me?

Ani Lorak: So, dearest forum members, get out of your shade.

Serebro: And get your Bit*#*@ standing right next to you.

Anastasiya Prihodko: Or even get your mamo!

Verka Serduchka: Danciiiiiiiiiing! Oops, *fixes boobs * I meant voootiiiiiiiiiiiing!

Voiceover: To explain the rules and mechanics of the game is our executive supervisor Dante!

Dante: Good evening Europe, here is the purpose of the game:

1) We will hold the national finals of each country that had national finals. A poll will be open for 1 week and you can vote for your most favorite song from the whole selection.
2) For the countries that didn't have a NF (France, UK, etc.), or had an NF for the singer but not for the song (Azerbaijan, etc.), they will instantly have an entry so we won't vote for them.
3) The exceptions from this rule are Belarus and Italy. For Belarus we will choose between “I Love Belraus,” “Born in Belarussia” and “I am Belarussian.” For Italy, we will choose between the winner of “Giovani” and the top 3 of “Artisti” from San Remo, to rid ourselves of complications.
4)Final ESC version and NF versions of the song will be posted on the poll as separate songs. So you guys have more choices. However, remixes and versions not intended to be used on stage will not be part of the poll. (exception, Iceland, there was an article where Yohanna wanted to use the English version of Nótt in ESC, so we will have that as a choice)
5) After the national finals, we will have the semi-finals and the final. You will post your votes in the Eurovision fashion and post them on the thread.
6) For further questions contact
r3gg13.

Dante: Here are the rules of the game:
1) the 100 post rule applies here just as it does in other forum games.
2) Have fun :)

Here are the countries that already have a song:

Re: Idealvision NF#3 Portugal voting from May 20 to May 27

Well, what about languages and versions? Some had different languages/versions in their NFs to the ones they decided to use in the end. Are we gonna be judging the NF versions and if they happen to win, decide which version was better?

Re: Idealvision NF#3 Portugal voting from May 20 to May 27

^I have thought of that, I will include both the final ESC version and the NF editions of the songs on the poll. I think it's the simplest way to do it. So it's up to all of you guys to choose which one is the best :)

However, remixes and versions that were not intended to be used on stage (i.e. promo versions) will not be judged.

Well, then we can do a poll on Hungary and Russia, too? I mean Hungary's initial version was entirely in Hungarian, though maybe it wasn't intended for ESC but Russia didn't contain that Russian part for the first 2 months?

^Yeah of course :) It was an oversight on my part, I will edit that out on the first post, and have a poll for those countries too. (I did have a poll planned out for Belarus)

I don't think that comrade Lukashenko would like the idea that someone else is choosing Belarus song

Will we have semifinals for Melodifestivalen? Or all at once?

We will only have the finals for all of the National Finals, except the actual ESC

This seems very good idea :D

But I can only vote if I have 100 posts?

Wow, great idea. It'll be very interesting to see what would be our ideal Eurovision or "Idealvision". :D
