Hungary will maybe come back because now they have another TV in EBU which would like to join Eurovision :) (btw. not 100% sure)

Me as well :)

I believe they will return, TV Duna is now part of the EBU, so it is very likely to see Hungary in 2011.

Check this site after May 10, just in case ;)
It seems Duna TV will be in charge of the NF.
They are gonna broadcast ESC 2010 too (and 3 Countdown shows  sio I guess that they are really interested :D ).

Love their site! Happy to know we'll certainly see Hungary back next year. :D I'm going to spend some time seeing every detail in it. Love how most names of countries are in Hungarian. They've written England, instead of United Kingdom, though.

After what happened to Slovakia and Poland, I don't think they're returning next year, same with Czech Republic

^ Unlike certain broadcasters they don't care about the results + they are already clear about participating so don't even hope
+ if Slovakia stays, Hungary will give it high points and vice versa.

Poland will definitely stay since they were in the final 2 years ago and are usually the closest country to qualifying from the non-qualifiers. Don't know about the Czech Republic but it would help if all of them (, including Austria) were there.

+ 1 )))

If Czech republic comes back we would have a lil' Central European gang )))
Though judging from reaction of the Czech broadcaster I doubt they come back :(

I'm afraid you might be right about that. No one cares for these countries in the contest, no matter what they send which is a pity since they often deserved better than their outcome and to add that the interest in these countries are low... basically it's just the diaspora groups in these countries who votes and cares (kind of like in the UK/France)

Re: MAGYARORSZÁG - Hungary 2011

Hungary is a different case. You can see that after taking a look at the contests of 2005 & 2007. No idea why 2008 failed and 2009 did so, due to hillarious staging, IMO... Plus, it's the money that troubled Hungary this year, not the results...
