I didn't know where to post it so I'll just do it here. It's not exactly news, but it's quite funny.

Anyway, somebody discovered an episode from American sitcom from 1984, where there is a character who's from Estonia. And he speaks Estonian quite well, but of course with very noticeable accent.

Nowadays we tend to come up in American TV shows and films every now and then, but what amazes me the most is that this episode is from 1984, when we had been under the Soviet occupation for over 40 years, it was before perestroika, glasnost, etc. How the heck did they come up with an idea of a character being from Estonia???
