Nikolas Metaxas - "Ah Triantafyllia Mou"
This song was the soundtrack of a Cypriot tv-series that its plot was about the beginning of the 20th century or before. It is in the Cypriot dialect of Greek, and it is a pure Cypriot folk ballad with a lot of traditional vibes. Something not so common for Nikolas Metaxas, who is an alternative rock singer, but he can support this style very well as he shows!
Nikolas Metaxas was the runner up of the first series of the Greek X Factor, and also the composer of the Cypriot entry in Eurovision 2009, "Firefly" that was performed by his sister, Christina. Now he's in the USA, studying in Berklee University in Boston. Meanwhile, he released his first studio album "Square One", an album where the most dominant style of songs are alternative rock and acoustic.
