The Rules for this FSC December 2020: ‘Best Of: Christmas’ Spin-Off

1. Any member at ESCYounited.com may take part. Individual participation (one person pr entry)
2. Choose a country (one country pr person). Any available country can be chosen
3. Choose a Christmas-related song by an artist from your chosen country
4. The song can be a traditional Christmas song but does not have to be, it can also be an unconventional song connected to Christmas
5. The song can be from any year (see exceptions below) in any music style/genre. Covers/Remakes are allowed.
6. An artist may only take part for one country pr edition. First come, first serve
7. A song may only take part once pr edition. First come, first serve
8. All kinds of videos can be used. No MP3s will be used in this edition, just videos

- but the following are not allowed: ESC songs, or FSC/FSC Spin-Off songs from 2018/2019/2020, or songs that are not connected/related to Christmas in any way

FYI: There have been some technical issues/errors/slowness in the forum this evening for some members and for this reason the entries deadline has been extended by 24 hours (the opening post has been updated, countries will then have 13 days to listen to the songs and vote). This also gives a few more countries the chance to enter the Spin-Off

1 hour to go until the extended deadline runs out. We have 18 participants so far but would like a couple more to join before the deadline so we get a full 20. We are aware there are some forum issues.. Anyone able to step up and join us?

FYI: Due to renewed technical issues (Service Unavailable errors as well as major slowness) in the forum in the past couple hours this evening which may have affected members who wished to enter a song for this Spin-Off before the deadline, we see no other option than to extend the entries deadline further, it seems only fair and square.

The deadline has therefore been extended by 12 hours. Hopefully the forum is more stable tomorrow, Saturday but it depends on the site working smoothly for everyone. The plan is still to post the Christmas Spin-Off Show tomorrow evening if possible, but we will have to see if it is workable. We are doing our best but depend on the forum working for everyone. The opening post has been updated.

We ended up with 20 countries taking part in the FSC 'Best Of: Christmas' Spin-Off which is great! (see list of countries/flags and players in the opening post)

We shall hope the forum runs more smoothly today and I plan to post an official Running Order for this edition later this afternoon - and the FSC Spin-Off Show (from a secret destination.. will be a surprise ) tonight, Saturday at 20:00 CET!
