Back to the 90s.

37 songs were submitted to the competition and pre-selection jury chose 8 songs for the final.

Here they are:

8. Kate - Perpetuum mobile

International jury was used for the second time as it had justified itself the year earlier with 5th place in Eurovision final. 8 member jury gave points 1-6, 8 and 10. Here are the results:
1. Keelatud maa (72 points)
2. Üksik hing (40)
3. Liiga noor, et armuda (38)
4. Tantsupalavik (38)
5. Perpetuum mobile (32)
6. Meeletu soov (32)
7. Aeg (31)
8. Homme (29)

Public favorite was chosen by televoting and it was Aeg.


Simple music video for Keelatud maa was produced. Looks like some sort of old factory or warehouse:

In Dublin, Ireland we were once again quite successful: 82 points and 8th place.

I liked both songs with Maarja. The ESC entry is the best IMO. Estonian is such a beautiful language!

Both songs with Maarja are brilliant and I also love Tanya's song, but I have no clue who she is. I can't remember her doing anything else besides this one song
