He’s still the man for :hr: in my opinion. With the right song he has winner potential. And actually many of his own songs do have great quality.

A duo together with Albina would also be a very nice thing. Their performance at The Voice was just phenomenal.

1. Remove the current selection committee at Dora (I think this will probably happen).

I don't ask for more. :D

HRT representatives were booed at the welcoming event for Baby Lasagna in Zagreb yesterday... People did not forget all the drama and the way how HRT approached its selection and the fact televote winning song was not even selected among top 25 by this committee.

Honestly I don't think they can get better than 2nd place this year. I honestly thought we will finish somewhere in top 10, but not in top 3. It's such a rare moment for any country especially for Croatia who isn't known as Eurovision powerhouse, who this year had more than 50% chance to win, ogae winner, televote winner (only by 10 points though) and still got only second place. So I don't believe we can top that result in the future. Croatia needs gay representatives though. I don't think we ever got gays representing Croatia.

I mean Croatia has big music stars but they are mostly older, cult bands and singers. It is not a big music scene as with Serbia though.

Honestly, as much as i'd love to hate them, i kind of understand their decision. Baby Lasagna's vocals weren't great, the song was poorly written and relied on a gimmick factor. They had no idea how the performance would elevate it, and could never have predicted it taking off due to a viral factor.

I kind of liked it at first, but it got old to me quickly. It required the live performance for impact, hearing it on radio it felt completely flat and amateurishly made. And the arrogance and selfishness of his supporters wanting Croatia to win instead of Switzerland just because it would be to expensive for them to visit, really turned me off it further, but that has nothing to do with this anyway.

Clearly, they should play to the qualities of their last two entries, but they need to emphasize good vocals and composition a little bit more to avoid ending up like they did this year. Not that it was a bad result anyway, but probably not what they wanted.

like I think it was good enough to be in the selection, but at the same time, it actually wasn't as good as people make it out to be.

Believe me, without the hype, the ESC juries also wouldn't have put it any higher than 20th in the final.

I hope that he will have a Dora comeback soon. I still love Moli za nas. I'm not sure if I like his new song but It's very interesting. He's talented for sure.
