By checking that thread and reading it's content. I mean, as soon as I saw that title I was urged by curiosity to check that thread and discover it's confirmation topic. How were people supposed to know that moon was not made of cheese?

Harder? I thought it was quite noticeable. But yeah, I understand if you wouldn't want to check thread with that kind of title. Anyway, there will be loads of other spin-offs so don't feel bad for missing one.

Yes, that was pretty obvious for me as well. Even the host didn't want to reveal his true identity. Are they one of the genuine, competing nowadays NSC nations? Maybe we should guess who that is.

It was so mysterious I didn't even solve the mystery. :|

I'm not freaking out I'm just thinking it should have been made a tiny bit clearer. Just because it's a mystery spinoff doesn't mean actually signing up for it has to be another mystery.....I can see how it got 20 entries and not nearer the max of 29.

Can someone please tell me the next time there's a mystery spinoff signup thread wallowing in the shadows? I really thought the mystery spinoff was going to be fun

As I've said many times (in particular, on numerous occasions to you Sean ), the first post of the Spinoff Information thread is always updated, and always worth checking Anselm is keeping an even more efficient job than I did

you were not around when we had the 1st mytsery spinoff. the minute I saw the content of the 1st post I knew right the way that it was the sign up thread!
and also 19 other members did. so you could've asked someone I guess out of curiosity even what it is all about? :| the thread was NOT closed as the other spam threads, so that could've made it clear that it's not a spam thread, and also was around for a MUCH MUCH longer period as we went with the Halloween spinoff first.
