Best winning song 1990-1999

Eurovision actually existed before the '00s, so what's your favorite winner from the '90s (aka the Irish Decade)?

1996: "The Voice" - Eimear Quinn

1997: "Love Shine A Light" - Katrina & The Waves

1999: "Take Me To Your Heaven" - Charlotte Nilsson

So many good winners this decade! I love almost all of them. My favorite will forever be Insieme though. Nothing beats that chorus!

NOCTURNE!

Nocturne is fantastic! I remember watching the final live and thinking to myself "this is going to win, for sure!".

Nocturne!!! I am a big Secret Garden fan in general. I became a fan even before I knew they won the Eurovision Song Contest once. I was very surprised to find out!!
The Voice is my second favourite winner of all time.

And I like the Eurovision '90's in general. So many good winners! I can not name one winner that I dislike.

Actually, I must say I'm not really a major fan of most of these entries, and seeing these list of winners is the exact reason why I didn't want the juries back in the first place. Most of these are quite boring and dated (for their time being).

But there are of course some gems in here, Dana International would be my first pick, out of all these winners it was the only one which actually seemed somewhat connected to the current music at that time. Now, I'm not saying that winners need to be that, but some of the these just feels so hopelessly out of touch, atleast if they weren't cheesy it wouldn't matter.

I liked the 90's Eurovision however, great ESC decade, and there were plenty of great entries throughout those years, unfortunately many didn't even end up in the top. 10's

I think all these winners are ok songs though (except for the über-crap Insieme: 1992), but have I had the possibility to change the 90's winners, I'd do it in all of these cases.

Voted for "The Voice" because I personally like celtic female voices. Kinda haunting melody, loved it.

The Nineties is by far my favourite decade in the ESC. Its winners are all pretty good, although Ireland's overrepresentation is undeserved IMO.

My favourite is Carola's "Fångad Av En Stormvind".

Others I love are "Nocturne", "Love Shine A Light" and "Rock'n Roll Kids".

"Why Me?", "In Your Eyes", "The Voice" and "Diva" are good but don't score high in my personal list. I know Israel 1998 is an absolute classic, but I've never seemed to like it as much as ESC fans usually do.

"Insieme: 1992" and "Take Me To Your Heaven" are dreadful winners IMO.
