hmm so many, i went to Betws-y-Coed near Snowdon, Wales(Cymru)

went camping not far from here, when we had the British heatwave.

My favourite village is Middleham in North Yorkshire . I have always found it very peaceful and attractive.

Actually, I've decided that Britain's best village is Emmerdale . There isnt a village with more happenings and goings-on in the world!

My mum lived n Sicily or a while and I only been at the border with France near Nice & Monaco

We don't have a pattern of settlement organized into villages. We have cities and towns and clusters of houses/businesses on the countryside.

This village is called Todtnauberg. It´s in the Black Forest in Germany and I can remember, that I often was there, when I was young and spend my summerholidays there. It´s really beautiful.

In Serbia, best villages (imo) r in mountainous regions, cause landscapes r more fun, in north which is totally flat - villages r boring (but have better infrastructure).
Nices villages r in/around Zlatibor mountain

West Serbia

East Serbia

North Serbia
(What's in common for all villages in is that they're very poor and nowadays almost completely abandoned, nobody wants to live there, ppl moving out, villages die out, sometimes is possible to buy a house and land for only 2.000 eur).

Omg I love Ambleside, I've been there quite a few times. It's next to Windermere isnt it. I do think that Grasmere is nicer though .
