I love ABBA, but I honestly think Waterloo is one of their most boring songs. I don't know if it's because it's so overplayed but I've never liked it, not even as a kid.

I agree. They have much better songs than Waterloo... but somehow Waterloo is always Waterloo, and it's great no matter what!

Haha yeah I suppose. I mean I am thankful for it because it gave us our very first ESC victory.

1979: "Satellit" - Ted Gärdestad (another song with great music but I like it in general)

1984: "Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley" - Herreys
1985: "Bra Vibrationer" - Kicki Danielsson (ok last year in Mello's interval act, from the public's reaction I got the feeling that this is the FAVOURITE swedish entry! and I just LOVE it!)
1991: "Fångad Av En Stormvind" – Carola
1996: "Den Vilda" - One More Time (I honestly believe this is one of the best Eurovision entries ever! deserved a first place)
1998: "Kärleken Är" - Jill Johnson
1999: "Take Me To Your Heaven" - Charlotte Nilsson (better in swedish and I love the reprise of 1999 when she sang the last chorus in swedish! )
2000: "When Spirits Are Calling My Name" - Roger Pontare (prefer it in swedish)
2001: "Listen To Your Heartbeat" - Friends (in swedish!)
2002: "Never Let It Go" - Afro-dite ( This is my ALL TIME FAVOURITE swedish entry!!! I can play it on repeat all day long! 2002 was my first Eurovision and this song stuck on my mind for months! and there was no youtube back then and I couldn't listen to it -and I didn't know a lot about internet back then- but I NEVER forgot this melody!)
2003: "Give Me Your Love" - Fame
2004: "It Hurts" - Lena Philipsson (sooo much better in swedish)
2006: "Invincible" – Carola (it could have finished higher in swedish!)
2008: "Hero" - Charlotte Perrelli (schlager! )
2009: "La Voix" - Marlena Ernman
2010: "This Is My Life" - Anna Bergendahl
2011: "Popular" - Eric Saade

Well I know I know... I voted for too many but Sweden is my favourite ESC country!

I'm sorry, but I just find it very boring to be honest. To me it's not a wonder we came last that year with nul points.

Gunnar Wiklund was much better with Vårens flickparad, and should have won.
