I have been watching the intervals today and there is a song that Jan Delay sings about Johnny Castle...really catchy!

:ee: 2002 was the worst for me

I voted for madcon of course, but for me, the best interval act of the last decade was Flying steps during the 1rst semi in germany :

I personally disliked the German interval acts from the bottom of my heart. Random with no connection to Germany. It just felt like I was watching "America's got talent" talent or something.

This is my favorite, from the first semi-final in Russia 2009:

I really liked all the German interval acts, especially Flying steps.... really awesome....

Since I missed Norway 2010, I had no opinion on that. Just watched it on youtube, and really loved it. I think Norway was maybe the best Eurovision so far, so simple, so beautiful. All the other Eurovisions were just show-offs, but Norway was really close to the spirit.

I think so too. The hosts were excellent (no stupid humour à la Stefan Raab or "Whose turn is it to speak French????" à la Azerbaijan), the postcards were imaginative, there were so many great ideas: the flashmob, the families, the amazing introduction.

Düsseldorf was okay, but the interval acts were not my thing. Baku was even worse: the interval acts were long and boring (and the President's daughter; son-in-law, whatever... PLEASE!!!???) and the postcards... Seems like Azerbaijan is only Baku and some green fields around it. They also showed the same buildings twice or thrice. :?

Unfortunately, I remember none of the interval acts prior to 2009, because I started watching ESC only that year... Yeah I know, I'm ashamed of myself. LOL!

I really liked when tATu did the one of the semi intervals. I felt it was a bit of a subliminal message. We are Russia and are very big.

Oh really? Then you don't know much about Germany. Sorry for you. Germany did a sublime job.

I would say Norway (with Madcon) for the final, because it was like everybody left to party before the results
Anyway, the flashmob was a very good idea.

However, the best interval acts in my opinion were the russian ones during the two semifinals. Unfornately, I disliked Fuerza Bruta. I found it quite boring and meh.
