Best duo of 2015

It seems like 2015 is the year of the duo (no surprises as to why). No less then eight artists this May shall be competing as a pair. Which one is your favourite?

Poll now up. I'm actually not going to vote yet, as i'm still digesting a couple of the songs, but at the moment i'm thinking.....

As far as trends go at Eurovision, I think this one has actually led us to some pretty great songs. I enjoy five of them, three of which I love. I don't want to vote yet as i've just been listening to San Marino's song with my very special pair of Ralph Siegel ears on. I need more time to see if my sudden mad burst of love for it will be long lasting. Estonia's song is cool and I think they make for my favourite pairing. They mismatch but it works with the story of the song. I love how wonderfully deadpan Stig is. Czech Republic has probably the most instant, catchy song here. It's incredibly powerful also... but San Marino, Ralph Siegel I can't resist it's magic.

Belarus are cool. The only duo here where only one artist is singing. I enjoy this song. Not crazy for it but it's solid. The UK's entry is ridiculous but I enjoy it for all the wrong reasons. Terribly fun entry...

Then we've got.. Lithuania and Norway. I can't bear either song. Have talked too much about them both (especially the latter) in their respective topics, so I won't go over what I don't like about them again now.

They are competing as a pair, a duo so that's why I put them into the poll It's still a focus on two people.

Take Belarus out and it's the competition between DUETS. I mean it's the competition between the pairs who sing together. That makes duet a duet. At least I would like that kind a poll. Because if we include act with just two people on stage (maraaya actually has 3 people) or whatever then it doesn't have much to do with duets.

If that's what the majority want then we can go for that. A mod will most likely have to edit the poll though, as I don't think I have the power to. The title would have to be changed to best "duet" if that were to be the case as well. A duo is a pairing of people. As artists, both Maraaya and Uzari & Maimuna are duos.

It's up to you all though what you want but I personally would have included them both as it's a focus on two people. If the people want duets, duets we shall have. I suppose it would be more focused on one specific thing that way, and that's two people singing together.

Maraaya is a duo too, but only the woman is singing, so it´s similar case as Belarus.

I think you should start another thread with the right data, tag all people who voted here (if it is possible to find out) with a link to the new thread, asking them to repeat their voting and after that, delete the original one.

No one has voted for Belarus yet, so i'm going to see if I can get a mod to come and just remove the country from the list and change it to best "duet". Quite a lot of people have voted now and I can't see the data showing who has done so. It does perhaps make a bit more sense only counting the duets, as Belarus and Slovenia are a very different kettle of fish compared to the six duets.
