I'm not sure about top5 (maybe I'll post it later), but my number one is definitely Russian anthem. It gives me the shivers. I could change my nationality just for the anthem.

I feel like you've only listened to big countries' anthems and mostly to European ones, too... There are so many beautiful ones, a top 5 is impossible to be produced. There's a guy on YouTube that probbaly has all anthems of modern countris. ;-)

There are many great ones, but I really like Romanian, Italian, French, Spanish and Russian anthems. Oh yes, and the Serbian one of course

I don't usually like anthems. I think it's a demonstration of cheap nationalism, but okay.... anything except the joke the Spaniards have as an anthem

I especially hate La Marselleise, because the lyrics are too violent nationalistic, even sort of racist or xenophobic.

But the best anthem is anthem of Liverpool FC. It's not a special song, but it's amazing when people sing it all together before a match.

It's hard to rank the anthems, but I do like Chinas, UKs, France and Russia, but the best for me I believe is Israels (the one that Israeliboy shows). It's so sad comparing to others and really deflects the history of the country too!

There is only one national anthem that really moves me, and that is the Russian anthem. Sorry, but apart from the Russian one most anthems just suck. Just like dogmeat it gives me shivers listening to the Russian anthem (especially in sport).

I have no idea how all countries anthems sound, I've listened to those that were posted here and out of those - I can say I like Russian and EU anthem (although the EU's is a bit too repetitive, but ok).
When I watch some sport even (athletics for example, lots of time is spent for anthems there), all anthems sounds similar to me and it's not smth that I would normally listen.
Serbian anthem - I know melody but I don't know lyrics/words, so I don't sing it, ofc.1

I haven't listened to many... I really like the Polish one. I remember liking the Faroese anthem. I don't like the British anthem. The French anthem is ok. I think that's all I know

From those I've heard, I would say Russian, Romanian and Italian And of course "Our beautiful homeland" (Croatian anthem)

I prefer 10th Year March (performed in 1933) to current anthem.It would be great anthem !! It has great lyrics and melody more than istiklal marsi.

I think all anthems are nice. After all, they are symbols of a country's sovereignty.

I like the Macedonian anthem a lot and I can sing it. I like the Canadian one (it annoyed me in high school, because I had to listen to it every day) and I can sing that one too. I've heard the American one. I like that one too, it is nice. I like the old Yugoslavian anthem as well. I like the Russian one too. I haven't really heard the others.
