Belarus fake jury points

Belarus jury got dispended and shut off after revealing details of teir semi-final 1 voting. EBU said:

An aggregated result approved by the auditors will be used in order to determine to whom the Belarussian votes will be allocated.

Which resulted in Israel getting 12 poings by this aggregated score under the name of Belarus, despite Israel getting 0 points from any other jury group. Shady isn’t it?

I had the impression they wanted to punish Belarus for that so they gave points to all of the countries that were close to them in the standings.

If these jury points were genuinely just made up then WTF!? They should have just ditched their jury vote altogether.

It looks incredibly random. They should just delete votes in the future. It doesn’t matter that much and it is more fair than this. Or they just wanted to give some countries some points at least.

they should have just repeated their telecote results or actually used an aggregate of neighbour countries. giving 12 to a country that would get 0 otherwise which is also the home countr is the shadiest shit i've ever seen lmao.

You could see that the votes were fake, so it felt very awkward when they showed Israel receiving these points. I wonder if Kobi was aware that the 12 points he received were fake.

they should find a way how to punish the actual wrongdoers (be it juries/broadcasters/...) and not everybody else. This just leaves a bitter feeling for all those countries whose already small amount of points is not even real (Spain, Norway, Germany, Israel,...)

One could argue they did the bottom 10 as the top 10 was so close they didn't want it to potentially sway the results. Remember, at this point the televote was unknown. Only Australia from that did anything super well in the juries.

I thought this too but thinking about it deeper, the only thing close to fair they could have done is double up the Belarus televote. Excluding the jury vote wouldn’t have been a punishment for Belarus but potentially a benefit for their own entry.

What they’ve done though here is pretty much the worst thing possible and I’ll be surprised if something doesn’t kick off from it. The fact these fake votes change the position of four countries is flat out scandalous. It’s a big thing.

Didn’t we have this situation one or two times in the past?
I remember votes were cancelled because some irregularities... they either used televote only or the jury vote only (don’t remember which voting wasn’t correct).
