And again, a unanimous decision that they will perform 'The Operator' in the final!

So the two groups are safe, which means sadly the two solo artists, Florence and Oska, haven't made it directly to the final. I now have the (extremely difficult decision!) of deciding which one of the two will join MonaLisa Twins and Mother's Cake in the final, I will listen to both of the songs you voted for these artists to make the decision of which one to save.

Danger Zone Decision

First to perform is Florence Arman, she was the only one of the four finalists to have a split vote for song, between Out of the Blue and Fever. With no way to break the tie based on the voting, I opted to break the tie in favour of the higher viewed song on YouTube overall, Fever had 2,922 views, and Out of the Blue had 46,523 views, which appears to be Florence's most popular song, therefore Out of the Blue will represent her if she makes the final.

Second to perform is Oska, this decision was unanimous in your vote, with Honeymoon Phase selected as the song that will represent her if she reaches the final.

This was a very tough decision, both have been reasonably popular in previous rounds, and both have very similar performance styles, and both of these songs are very similar. I have made the final decision based on which of the two tracks had more of a 'hook', and was therefore the more likely of the two to stand out in a large semi final, so the last finalist is...

So sadly Oska hasn't made it through, but you may see her in future Austrian NFs!
It is now down to you, we have the final three artists and songs, and your votes alone will determine which of the three represents Austria!

Mother's Cake dominated the voting across all four rounds, finishing in first place in all four rounds of voting, and close to full marks in the final! Despite this, winning song 'The Operator' didn't reach the final, but 16th Place in a Semi Final is still my second best result since I started.

Unser Lied für Österreich!​

Just one round of voting this time. The runner's up from the last two National Finals - Kitty in A Casket and MonaLisa Twins return with the songs that nearly made it previously. Due to the multi round format of the last national final, three acts had left over songs that didn't get used, which means Mother's Cake, Oska and Palffi all return with new songs!
Completing the line-up are national final regulars, and former Worldvision contestants Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung, former Eurovision and Worldvision contestant Paenda, and Symphonic Metal band Edenbridge!

The song with the most points will represent Austria this time, while the song with the second highest score will be sent as my backup entry. If you are aware of any potential issues with any of the songs, please let me know

Unser Lied für Österreich - Just the Two of Them!​

After three unsuccessful internal selections, the national final is back, this time celebrating duets! This time, I have opted for all live (or at least mimed) performances, next editions duets will all be music videos.

Returning are Trackshittaz (Austria 2012), who had to be removed from a previous national final due to the song being ineligible, and Mona Lisa Twins, who have competed in two previous national finals.
