That sounds indeed alright.
I don't think that the 100% televoting approach to determine the Eurovision entry was bad, though.
At least, we're not back at 5 jury members deciding the overall winner and/or the entrant - that was quite questionable in a few editions.

Do we already know whether all songs have to compete to get one of the 18 final spots? Or are the "big artists" already set again and only the newcomers have to fight over a few spots like in recent years?

Mal's song Antihero for this edition of FiK the first to leak. An improvement on last year at least but then again it would be nearly impossible not to better than his abomination that somehow won.

Shkodra Elektronike - Zjerm and Elvana Gjata - Karnaval are my favorite NF songs this far this year :)

Shkodra or Elvana (wondering if the jury will bomb her ;))
FiK really came for our wigs

I'm quite disappointed. This is is probably the worst first impression I've had for a batch of Fik songs since I've been following the contest. Not to say there wasn't anything I enjoyed or that I even strongly disliked many (if any) of the songs. Just nothing punched me right in the gut with the feels or got me hyped like Albania usually always manages to this time of year.

My overly generous scores:

There are three songs that are a bit above the others here for me. Alis' Mjegull is a bit typical but I find it enjoyable. It's ticking every box to do well here. The "James Arthur vibes" comment my eyes were immediately met with on the Youtube video is making me re-evaluate my taste and general life choices though. Shkodra Elektronike's Zjerm is catchy, relatively unique in this lineup and I think stands out quite decently. Frensi Revania's Rreziko is the third song that caught my attention. Very snazzy disco number.

For most of the others I'll await their live performances with the orchestra to find out which ones will come alive. I think that's the issue with having Fik songs released early as the majority sound like demos.

If I were to pick a song at this stage.. actually, quite simple. Zjerm is the one. It does run the risk of being an entry that fans overhype to then see it come 24th in the final but I think it's worth the gamble, and at the very least would add flavour to next year's contest.

I'm utterly disappointed by Elvana's new attempt. Her song is quite trashy and dated, imo. It reminds me of some late 90's/early 00's "Bailando Fiesta Mi Amor" pop mess. The arrangement might sound a bit more modern but the core essence of the song isn't fresh, contemporary or very competitive, imo.
I can see the appeal for some hardcore fans, though. It's a catchy throw-away pop song but I'm quite shocked that it's so short (the 40 seconds orchestra intro was misleading).

Actually, I think it's one of the worst entries in this NF.

Thank God I'm not alone. Elvana's song is the only one I've heard so far and this is no Me Tana. And can we please stop with the lame putting generic Spanish words into songs unnecessarily once and for all?

Finally thru with the FiK-songs ... Fantastic! Liked about 70% of the songs, some above the rest though.

My top 3:
Shkodra Elektronike – Zjerm
Orgesa Zaimi – I parë
Jet – Gjallë

Special mention:
Gresa Gjocera – E vërteta
Erma Mici – Mbaje
Kleansa Susaj – Ta dija
Mal Retkoceri – Antihero (shitstorm incoming! But the song is so addictive!)
Klea Dina – Dashuri ndiej

I can't say I'm personally disappointed but I'm more so confused as I've heard a lot of great Elvana songs outside of the contest that would be high in my ranking in any given year. Meanwhile, both her ESC attempts have pretty much been bottom of the bunch for me. I love a nice hot bop but these Fik offerings in my opinion have been dull. I'm grateful the jury vote is involved this year with selecting the Eurovision entry. Actually... maybe I shouldn't be after what happened last year. Oh dear.

The beginning of circuit gay party in Spain vibes meet Jennifer Lopez trashy b-side. Unfortunately, such type of songs end in the top-5 very often. So if Albania comes for their best result in televoting, they can choose her. She even added those 40 seconds for the jury, may her naive soul RIP xgiggle
Song-wise it's Shkodra Elektronike all the way.

So after 1st listen I have Lorenc Hasrama as clear favourite

Allis is great then a bunch of 8/10s with Luna, Erma (even tho they can do so much better), Shkodra Elektronike (best choice for ESC), Frenci, maybe Jet and the old man at the end

Elvana's song is good and talks with the bubble mentioning at the same time the TikTok fandom.
In my opinion, it is way better than Me Tana, that well... was made for Eurovision and never had a life outside of it.
