Project E.A.R. (East Asian Revolution) is a group of Southeast Asian rap and rock artists and friends who joined together in their debut at the MTV Asia Awards 2008.

Wing Han Tsang (曾咏韓) is flom Hong Kong, and is now based in New Zearand. Singing has been her passion all her rife, and her determination and enthusiasm are key factors in her "unique" singing style. Bunnaroth featuring Meas SokSophea - PHEAK HUN SNAEH

In recognition of the first country to get their act together for Our Sound (that's what this is all meant to be about, after all ) and introducing the first ever entry of this nationality and language to NSC, Yaponesia explored Cambodia, in an attempt to pre-empt what we can expect from this south-east Asian country, already midway through a talent contest to determine who will join the big Cambodian singers in their NF. Amidst all the (rather boring ) ballads, we found this cheesy little number

No idea what the lyrics mean, despite the blatant subtitles; Khmer is a bizarre language...
With any luck, we may even see one of the two Cambodian stars featured here, Bunnaroth and Meas Soksophea, in their NF final

Shironamhin - BULLET KINGBA KOBITA (Bullet or Poem)

For NSC 48, we bring you a dramatic rock song from Bangladesh. Shironamhin are a rock band from Dhaka, formed in 1996, consisting of Zia, Tuhin, Shafin, Rajib, Tushar and Diat.
Bullet Kingba Kobita is a slightly anarchist song about whether to rebel using violence or words; a bullet or a poem.
I'll see if I can get hold of lyrics or a translation

Hồ Ngọc Hà used to be a model, winning supermodel contests in 2003 and 2004 She now lives in Ho Chi Minh City. SuBoi is a Vietnamese rapper, new on the scene. Xin Hãy Thứ Tha is a predictable apologetic love song about asking for forgiveness, and it sounds bloody familiar, to the point where I worried if it was a cover If it is a cover, please let me know
