NUMA NUMA NATIA!
Record-breaking victory for Eestimadnait with O-Zone
The Griffin search for the 29th WLSC representative has come to an end. In a high-energy atmosphere, the full
Graisplaits Arrenaa cheered as the iconic song Dragostea Din Tei emerged victorious, breaking the record for the highest number of points. The Eestimadnaitish band collected 144 points from 10 juries and all 6 remaining principalities, bringing a 2000s energy to the WLSC.
Sletterlandish Édith Piaf took second place, marking the third consecutive second-place finish for this principality. Speculation about the Pyreican jury possibly undermining the famous Griffin star arose shortly after the broadcast ended, but
GTV,
GTV EEM, PyrTV and the artist herself have yet to comment.
For the second year in a row, Pzyerüyölkeä finished second, this time with a 70s ballad, Ljubav je samo riječ, sung by Pzyerish heartthrob Zdravko Čolić.
It has already been confirmed that Eestimadnait will host the contest, with this year’s host Alfie Templeman hinting he might try to represent his principality of Foreõsvdetrre. Full results, including the split votes, can be found here:
