How on Earth could Öklingsmaa finish last?? Shocking results for the Moisantian public, but best of luck to the GE delegation :(
It is possible that the televoting was rigged. :(

Yeah, also Effiland and Bigicia. At one moment I thought Lauv would win, but IIRIS was the most consistent one. :D

Good winner, I can see the appeal of Stranger and tbh it was more like a joint second place for me together with Heartbreaker.
But we're up there with Moisantian shock, how can Öklingsmaa finish last is beyond me. I think Griffin Empire should send Loïc after Iiris anyway. a little ignoring the public vote won't hurt, a little dictatorship might spice up things xdance

Jaagup Tuisk for Griffin Empire

During the grand celebration of the Griffin national holiday - Languadaign, Griffin representative for the 205th Waiting List Song Contest was revealed. Young Griffin pop musician and actor from Kralingslæting sang his song as part of the concert that was broadcasted live from the Nýtkapii Tere Square. Jaagup is relatively new to the Griffin scene, but he gained massive popularity and following with his debut song "Beautiful Lie" which he wrote and produced himself.

For his follow-up release, Jaagup Tuisk is offering up something completely different in the form of “miinusprojekt” — an electronic Griffin-language number with an urban flair. GTV explains that the lyrics were written by Tuisk himself, telling a story about communication and wrong decisions. The video features the talking car Kitt, from David Hasselhoff’s 1980’s TV show Knight Rider.

A Bridge Too Far
I was late to the party but still in time to see Jaagup. No expenses were spared, shit was lavish. Jaagup is going for the win it seems.

Welcome to the fourth Griffiniskaja Laul! It has been a month since the last edition and we are ready for more! Welcome to the Oceoonistadijümi in Rizsit in the Eestimadnait principality that won the contest with Stranger by IIRIS. To quote myself: " if you are eager to vote, you have recap and the playlist on YouTube if you have time to watch and listen to the whole songs. You vote by sending me your top 7 - from your favourite to your least favourite. Full list of songs is in spoiler. " This edition will determine our representative at the WLSC 208. Thank you so much, and see you at the results!

Yeah 30s were wild. xheat The results of some of these, I don’t remember which, would be higher if I voted. 😬 But thank you, I am really glad you liked Greyson xheart

“Nån av oss” wins 4th Griffiniskaja Laul!

After an exciting evening followed by as many as 11 countries, the Griffin Empire got a new winner of its national festival. Miriam Bryant and her song Nån av oss broke the record by scoring 139 points and took the first victory for the Principality of Foreõsvdetrre. Considering that the song won both the international jury and televoting, she is at the same time the overall winner of the festival and the griffin representative at the next Waiting List Song Contest. Sletterimaa represented by ByeAlex és a Slepp finished second and Pzyerüyölkeä's Gaia (that already competed at the Waiting List Song contest 199) finished third.

Full results as well as split votes are in spoiler.

What next?
We can confirm that there will be another Griffiniskaja Laul, but it is not known when. There will be a theme to the next edition that will celebrate music through the decades. Before it's another GL time, Griffin Empire will have a few internal selections. The entry for the Waiting List Song Contest 209 is already chosen as well and will be revealed during the LL show named Yu-griff-slavia 209. The show will follow the theme of the chosen song being "a Yugoslav classic", so the LL will consist of 22 songs that are from the same category. See you soon!
