Who the Hell is Edgar? :at: really surprised me because at first I hated it and now it's one of my favourites.

Either :se: or :fr:, they're both decent but it feels like people think they're the best thing to ever happen.

If we're including NF: Yo Quisiera :es:
Otherwise: Eaea :es: or maybe actually Duje :al:? Family stuff really gets me, I guess.

I feel like :de: is being underrated just because it's Germany and will probably do way better than people expect because it's leagues ahead of what Germany have been sending the past decade. Probably wishful thinking, as I love the song.

If we're counting NF: Länge leve livet :se: again.
Otherwise I've gotta go with Bridges :ee: just because it's such a classic ballad and I feel like there's always a song exactly like it that I find pretty cool during the contest but get tired of afterwards (like :au: last year).

Gotta say :dk: because it's my own country and I just know that we could send something brilliant if we had a selection committee that cared about music as an art form and not just as a source of revenue.

:al: or :pt: for sure, Duje is at the bottom of the odds, which is a scandal, and Ai Coração is my absolute fave but doesn't seem to appeal to that many other people.

Gotta be :at:, as I mentioned I hated it the first couple times I listened but it really grew on me.

Potentially :ua: because people are over-estimating its chances because of what happened last year. Or :fr: because it's pretty boring. Would :se: coming second count as a shock flop?

:dk: 2000 for sure, the Swedish entry that year was fucking incredible, but people preferred something shitty and boring, apparently. And I have to mention :az: 2011, of course, not quite as bad of a song as Fly On the Wings of Love, but still shouldn't have won.

:mk: 2019. Tamara Todevska is an icon, Proud is an amazing song, my second favourite entry of all time after Molitva, the jury was right and the televoters were on some weird shit.

2023. Fucking fight me.

2014 or 2016. 2014 was fun because it was in my country and it was the first year I was really into it (and in hindsight Conchita was my non-binary awakening). 2016 had Måns and the legendary Petra Mede, definitely the best hosts of all time.

Austria. I did not expect a song about Edgar Allan Poe. :LOL:

Both Finland and Malta brings on the happy vibes for me.

Q 03: What is the most overrated song this year?
Czechia. I actually find it kind of annoying. It has this repeated sound effect, like those tubes that whines when you flip them over, and it irks my sound sensitivity.

Q 04: Which song of this year brings out your emotional side?
Greece. The lyrics really hits home for me.

Q 05: Your favorite song of this year?
Finland. Maybe not the song on its own, but the whole package of the song, Käärijä, and the staging. :love:

Q 06: Which song do you see as a potential dark horse in this year’s Grand Final?
Austria. It's giving me the same vibes as Toy, which won in '18.

Q 07: What song is the most Eurovision-ish of this year?
Ireland. If there's one thing that really screams ESC for me, it's a song about peace and loving each other despite our differences.

Probably Romania. I felt they had a decent streak, and it seems like the ball was dropped this year.

I feel like people are sleeping on Greece. That or Malta, but that's more the bookies as I feel like the fans appreciate The Busker.

Greece.

The UK. Which will be especially awkward since it's held in the UK this year, but I have a feeling the ones who like this entry the most are the British and not the ones who can vote for it.

Albania. Just can't get into it.

Finland. I want to put that out in the universe. :D

It could be Spain or Sweden - or perhaps Austria.

If I'm going classic, it's Dansevise (1963). Modern, it's probably Zitti E Buoni (2021) or Rise Like a Phoenix (2014)

This is potentially controversial, but I really don't get the hype around Fairytale (2009).

Depends on my mood/headspace, but Attention (2020) is a big favorite.

2020, the year that never was. :cry:

2014. I love how they clearly embraced the slogan of that year in the shows. The fans dancing is probably my favorite interval act of all time. :D

Q: 19 What's your favorite (non-winning) ESC song of all time? yeah, too many of them.

Q 20: What's your favorite ESC year song-wise? this one is hard. again from recent history I'd say either 2016 or 2018? but I do enjoy 2022 and 2023 a lot as well.

Q 21: What's your favorite ESC year show-wise? definitely 2014. 2016 and 2015 were also really good (maybe it's the nostalgia idk)

Croatia? It's hard to be surprised. There are no songs that surprises me really. It does surprise me a bit that Spain chose to send a female Tarzan instead of an actual song.

UK, it's a solid bop but I fear for her vocals.

The obvious answer would be Arcade (NL 2019) since it actually was not a new song and he had performed and recorded it before he entered it in the contest, that was sh#t wasn't it.

Musically I also dislike 2021 and 2022.
