I am very satisfied with the group of Partizan :D

Barcelona and CSKA Moscow are clear favorites in the group, but in the competition against Lietuvos Rytas, Brose Baskets and Besiktas I think we can look for 1 of the 2 remaining places for top 16.

Besiktas is the strongest rival from pot 6, and imo, when we look at their quality they should be at least in pot 4, but we can't choose our rivals.........

Dusko Vujosevic will be our biggest strength this season as well as our supporters in Pionir who always make great atmosphere on basketball matches :D

Besiktas has very serious financial problems, so it will be in the bag for you. From what I watched last year, Bamberg is an amazing team and I think they've got a big shot for final four this year. Rytas was not that good though.

I did hear actually that they are having some financial difficulties. However, from what I watched, I still think Besiktas will be hard to beat as they are a great team. All Turkish basketball teams are great. I think Besiktas had Alen Iverson in the team 2 years ago, right ?

I didn't watch Brose Baskets recently.

Right. But who cares about Besiktas anyway :D

Watch and see. Your group is the hardest one I think.

It is, group D is definetly the hardest.

However, this group is easier that the one we had last year. We were placed with Maccabi, Real, Armani, Efes and the only "weak" team - Spirou Basket. It was a group of death, and we were still extremely close to make it.........

This current group, even though it is the hardest, is much easier than that one.

You'll probably compete with Rytas to qualify.

Partizan has made a promotion of the team for 2012/13 season. :D Here are some pictures from the promotion:

Final result:

So, Mapooro becomes the last team to participate in the Group A.

So, 2 more days before our first match in the Euroleague against Besiktas in :tr: .

It won't be easy at all. I watched some of Besiktas' last matches and they are definetly a great team. Our young players still need to learn to play as guests, and as Besiktas has a great home field and a great support of their supporters, it is obvious that the pressure will be very high.

As for the roster of Besiktas, I think the biggest threats are: Vidmar, Cetin, Markota and our ex-player Jerrells. However, the whole team is really very well composed.

It will be hard, but I hope for the best :D

Partizan lost against CSKA Moscow yesterday with 76-71. But what a match and what a performance of our young players against the team with the biggest budget in Europe, and imo a #1 favorite of this Euroleague xbowxbowxbow

Even though we have the cheapest team in the Euroleague, CSKA was in a clinical death yesterday and we had two shots for the
victory......sadly, we missed. But I am sure that next time, the ball will get in. I feel like we won. Our players have fought like lions against 10 x more expensive and probably 10 x better team with no respect" at all. We even outplayed them in some parts.

Too bad that we didn't win, but this is a huge school for our players, and I am sure things can only get better as now we have all seen that, even though this team is extremely young, we can play an equal match against one of the best European teams.

Our coach Dusko Vujosevic said that this generation is so perspective that it can be compared with the generation of legendary Vlade Divac. And I do agree with that. Mesina (the coach of CSKA) also said that these players will "once again write the history of our club and the European basketball".

If we keep these players for a couple of seasons, we can go to another final four in a very near future.....

And a bit of the atmosphere from the match, and the song that Partizan fans are always singing before the match. Because of this, Euroleague website stated once again - that the atmosphere that Partizan fans are making on the basketball matches is the best in the whole world and that we have the best basketball audience in the world as well! :D

:sl: Union Olimpija 75-81 Fenerbahçe :tr:

I'm actually much happier about the victory than I could be, due to an unpleasant event occurred before the match. Our Central African player, Romain Sato, was held in prison for a night and then was sent back to Turkey, because there was an issue with his passport. Man, I was really angry. Our players played in a more ambitious way against a team that thinks it can beat its rivals by sabotaging their best players.

Olimpija will come here as well, I think we need to have more strict superintendences about the visa or passport issues of the players of this team ;)

Partizan lost from Barcelona in Spain with 85:82, but we delivered yet again a magnificent performance and we were close to defeat Barcelona on their own field. A truly heroic game of our team.

This is the cheapest team in the history of Euroleague and two top 5 teams (Barcelona and CSKA) barely managed to keep their heads on after the duel with us. I am delighted with how the team is developing, and the only thing we are missing is experience. That was best seen in key moments of the matches against CSKA and Barcelona last night.

An expected score after the first four rounds, as we were playing as guests 3 times in these 4 matches of 0-4. Now we are playing against Bamberg (Brose Basket) and Besiktas both at home. I think we will beat both the German and the Turkish team and that way we will return to the right lane.

Brose Basket defeated Lietuvos Rytas tonight, so our chances of passing to top 16 are even bigger. But, even if we don't pass, I will not be disappointed if they continue playing like they were playing until now. If we keep this team for a couple of seasons, I think we will reach Final Four yet again..........

Partizan - Brose Basket tonight

The most important match of the season. If we defeat the German team (like it is expected), it will be a huge step towards top 16. Especially because they defeated Lietuvos Rytas, another rival of ours for the top 16.
