Greetings from me again!
All of you who are the athletic fans, probably know the fact that Doha, the capital of the small state Qatar, which is situated in the southwest of Asia (Arabic peninsula) , is the host of the 14th World athletic indoor championship, between 12th and 14th of March. The athletes from 150 countries will perform there, it is the bigger amount than it was in the last championship which was held in Valencia 2008, when 147 participant countries took part.
It will also be the fourth world championship which will be held out of Europe, after Indianapolis (USA) 1987, Toronto (Canada) 1993 and Maebashi (Japan) 1999.
Croatian colours in this championship will defend:
Blanka Vlaši?, high jump (W)
Jurica Grabuši?, 60 metres hurdles (M).
What about you? Who will represent your colours and what are your expectations from this tournament?
