I've loved that song since I was like 7 before I even knew what Eurovision was. Now Morty revealed the lack of rule i'm taking advantage of it.

I've loved that song since I was like 7 before I even know what Eurovision was. Now Morty revealed the lack of rule i'm taking advantage of it.

I had no idea Ding A Dong was Eurovision related either when I first heard it. It took me about a decade before I found out that what 4 Tune Fairytales had made was a cover. There's a lot about Eurovision pre-1990 that I don't know a lot about tbh.


So I joined the WLSC to have a place to send entries that's been waiting on NSC Covers & Remixes spinoffs (and ESC Covers & Remixes spinoffs) for several years. And what do I do in my 3rd edition? Send something brand new. Still a cover tho, and I gotta be quick with this, because it wouldn't surprise me if Lady Gaga's team gets this taken down, but I hope it gets to stay. Spila 45 remixed!

A quick update from the host:

Preparations are well underway for this edition, with a buzz already building on the streets of Johan City, host city of WLSC 234.

The delegation in charge of the planning and operation of the contest have also now confirmed that the previous loose theme of a "Movie Night" will be slightly rebranded to a "Movie Festival" since it's clear that the demand to spend longer than just one evening enjoying the movies and WLSC quality entries will be extremely high from both participants and the general Moisantian public alike.

With 7 participants already confirmed, and 6 classic movies chosen, the cinematic marvels have already got the HoD salivating - it's shaping up to be an edition to savour! ​
