It has been announced today that the city of Leechtown in Deltannor has been selected as the host city of the 218th Waiting List Song Contest. Leechtown is the 4th largest city in the country and the 3rd largest in Deltannor. The city is one of the oldest settlements in Tamausia & Deltannor, and is home to the Tamausi-Deltannese Archives, which store some of the most treasured artifacts and writings from throughout the nation's history. The city's name is an anglicisation of its Tamausi-Deltannese name Vilaliech, literally meaning 'bed-town'. It is believed that this name was given to the city by the first Grand Duchess of Tamausia & Deltannor, Connorelia Welchus, as it was the first place that she rested after discovering and landing on the island of Deltannor.
